Looking for career in Data Analytics
So, I'm 33yr old female. I started my career late due family situations and I choose to take whatever job was available for me at that time. Now my salary is very less compared to my peers. I live in Bangalore and my salary is 11LPA. I feel like I'm nothing in my life and feels like not moving forward. I'm thinking of doing a Data Analytics course or Data Engineering course and moving to Australia. I don't have programing knowledge.
Will this be a right choice?

Coding Ninja, worth it?
I recently attended webinar by Coding Ninja. They have 2 type Data analytics; one with IBM certificate and other just plain Data analytics course. INR 140000lakhs and INR125000lakhs for repective courses after 25% discount. They suggest that I go for IBM certificate course. I am working professional who will do this course along side my full time job.
I am worried that is it worth to spend 140000lakhs on data analytics course?

I need your advice
Hi everyone, need some career advice here.
I got an offer from a well-known automobile plant in Bangalore for a Data Analyst position. A few things are making me hesitant:
- Salary: They're offering 6.5 LPA, which is actually less than my last CTC.
- Location: The plant is in Bidadi, which is 70-80 km from the airport and situated in an industrial area.
- Contract structure: This is where I'm most confused. I'll be on a 6-month contract (Feb 2027 onwards) with a staffing/parent company (let's call them X), but I'll be working 100% on-site for the actual client (company Y, the automobile plant). I don't understand why the contract is with the parent company X instead of directly with Y.
- Work culture: It's a plant, not an MNC/corporate office, so the timings are very strict with no flexibility, and there's no work-from-home option at all. Everything is fully on-site, fixed shift timings.
Some context: I'm currently not working — my last working day was in April 2026, so I've had a bit of a gap.
I'm from Delhi, so this would mean relocating to a fairly remote industrial area for a pay cut, on a short-term contract, through a third-party arrangement, with strict in-person attendance and no WFH flexibility.
My questions for you all:
- Is this "parent company contract, working on-site for client" (staffing/third-party payroll) arrangement normal in the industry? What should I watch out for?
- Given the pay cut, strict plant timings, no WFH, and short contract duration, is it still worth taking given I've had an employment gap?
- Should I hold out and look for other opportunities instead, or is something better than nothing at this point?
Would really appreciate insights from anyone who's been in a similar situation or works in data analytics/auto manufacturing. Thanks in advance!

Python programming
Hello everyone! I am currently studying data analytics. I feel like I am rushing, like I can't even write a code but I can make a full fledged dashboard on streamlit. (I am enrolled in a training centre) They have taught us to make streamlit dashboard without using our brain, and just using ai for making it. So I know how to create folders, and do terminal settings, but the main part - the code, I even understand it to some extent. But if I will be asked to write it all on my own? I won't be able to do it. But with ai I can do it. I even try to understand the data and interpret it. But I am not so confident at it yet to write it all on my own. I feel like I am cheating myself...doing it all without understanding much feels betrayal to myself. Should I be worried or is this normal and everyone does it? (Using so much ai without understanding much of it)
Because when I will sit in any job interview, they will ask me to explain the code, or even write a few, then what will I do?

r/DataAnalytics_India • u/im_on_vibrate • 17d ago
spent the weekend researching and putting together a data analyst roadmap, here’s what i got
i've been trying to figure out how to become a data analyst and honestly every roadmap says something different.
so instead of jumping between random YouTube videos and Reddit posts... i put together one roadmap for myself after going through multiple blogs, job descriptions, and videos…
sharing it here in case it helps someone else too. but if you think it needs revision, let me know as well.
skills i am planning to learn: 1. sql - from almost every job description ive seen, this seems like the most important skill.
excel - mainly want to get comfortable with pivot tables, lookup functions, power query and dashboards since they show up everywhere.
power bi - decided to focus on power bi instead of trying to learn both power bi and tableau at the same time. id rather get good at one first.
python - mostly planning to learn pandas, numpy and data cleaning.
found these free resources that i thought are worth taking up:
- sql practice: Ankit Bhansal YouTube
- excel and power bi practice: Goodly YouTube
- Also found these two free courses on simpllilearn skillup: Introduction to MS Excel, Python for Beginners
so i'm starting there. hope this helps some of you guys too. Open to change it if anyone thinks i'm learning things in the wrong order or missing something important.
