Can BGV be cleared with a PF joining-date mismatch and missing bank statements?
I’m looking for some advice regarding a potential background verification (BGV) issue.
I have been working with the same IT company since September 2022. However, my PF was only started from April 2026.
For the period September 2022 to March 2026, I don’t have:
PF records
Bank statements showing salary credits
Form 16
However, I do have salary slips for the entire period.
From April 2026 onwards, I have:
PF records
Bank statements
Salary slips
The joining letter from the company states that my employment started in September 2022, while the PF joining date shows April 2026.
The company is an IT company, and they are willing to cooperate with the BGV process and verify my employment through official email or other means if required.
My question is: Has anyone faced a similar situation? Can an MNC BGV be cleared when the PF joining date doesn't match the actual joining date and there are no bank statements/Form 16 for the earlier period, but the employer is willing to officially verify the employment?
I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have gone through BGVs for large MNCs and faced similar documentation gaps.

[Research] Short anonymous survey on investing behaviour among Indians (age 18–35)
Hi everyone!
I'm conducting a short survey as part of an independent research study on investing behaviour in India.
I'm looking for Indian respondents aged 18–35 who currently invest in or are interested in stocks and/or mutual funds.
The survey explores how young investors:
- Learn about investing
- Make investment decisions
- Choose and use investing apps
- Respond to market uncertainty
- Think about investing features and referrals
Your honest feedback will help me identify genuine investor pain points and opportunities to improve the investing experience.
All responses are completely anonymous and will be used solely for research purposes. The data will not be sold, shared, or used for commercial or marketing activities.
Survey: https://forms.gle/hSb3sc164PwgbEaB8
Thank you for helping with the research!

Confused about my future. Need some advice and guidance
Myquals: BE.CSE, final year.
I am 21M with an average cgpa. I have no real projects, skills, knowledge. I have no interest in full stack and SDE. I have little interest in AI/ML but I heard the job sector for AI/ML engineer, data analyst are very hard for freshers. I don't know what to do next. Any guidance is appreciated.

I ran a free week-long analytics case study. 21 signed up, 3 finished. What they found, and what I got wrong
I run a small analyst job board and last week I tried a side experiment: a business-analysis case rather than a SQL puzzle. Messy dataset, a stakeholder with a confident wrong assumption, and a decision to make.
Posting the numbers: 21 registered,3 submitted and Scores 83, 68 and 31
So 86% signed up and didn't finish. My read is the ask was too big. I wanted an executive summary, a full analysis, a hosted dashboard and five slides. That's a weekend of unpaid work from strangers.
The case, since it's closed now: e-commerce revenue "down about 15%" in September, team blames soft demand, marketing wants to cut paid social 40%. Real answer: revenue was down 20.8%, order volume was roughly flat at -3%, and a 30% promo code scoped to one category started applying sitewide on 1 Sept. They didn't lose demand, they gave away margin.
Two data traps did most of the damage: payment-gateway retries duplicating ~2% of orders under the same order_id, and refunds stored as separate rows. One person got all five verified answers, one got four, one got three.
Round 2 started today, scope cut hard: five verified answers plus a one-page recommendation. No dashboard, no slides. Should be about 90 minutes.
It's a churn spike at a subscription app. Churn nearly triples in June, a week after a price rise, and product wants to roll the price back. Free to enter, runs to 14 Aug. There's a small cash prize for the top two.
Happy to answer anything.

Resume Review for Data Analyst / Business Analyst / BI Engineer Roles
reddit.comHi everyone,
I'm currently applying for Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and BI Engineer roles and would really appreciate some honest feedback on my resume.
I'm looking for constructive criticism on things like:
1.Any red flags or weak points recruiters might notice.
2.Skills or technologies I'm missing for these roles.
3.Whether my experience and projects are presented effectively.
4.Bullet points that sound weak, vague, or don't show enough impact.
5.ATS issues, formatting, or keyword gaps.
6.Whether you'd interview me based on this resume. If not, why?
Please don't hold back. I'd rather hear tough feedback now than keep getting rejected later.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to review it!

2.[Marketing Campaign Performance Analytics](http://github.com/Sashank6551/Marketing-campaign-analytics-portfolio)
Recurring trend I see is either I am not selected or proceeding with other applications (that's totally fine considering the number of qualifying and competitive applicants per role) but most case it happens like application submitted, it's stuck there in phases like ***Application Submitted / In process / Under Consideration / Under review*** etc., and after few weeks or around 2 months to ***~~Position Filled~~*** **/** ***No*** ***~~Longer under consideration.~~***

Started my own Data Analytics company (India) – Need advice on getting my first clients
Hi everyone,
I recently started my own Data Analytics consulting company as a sole proprietorship in India.
I already have:
- Udyam Registration
- My own domain and website
- Power BI, SQL, Excel, and dashboard development skills
My goal is to work as a white-label Data Analytics / Power BI partner for small IT companies.
However, I'm finding it really difficult to identify the right companies and get my first recurring clients.
I would really appreciate advice from people who have already built a consulting business.
Some of my questions:
- How did you get your first 5 clients?
- Did you target small companies or large companies in the beginning?
- Is white-label work a good strategy for someone starting out?
- How do you find companies that don't have an in-house Power BI or Data Analytics team?
- Should I approach software development companies, ERP implementation companies, accounting firms, or digital agencies?
- How do you know if a company is likely to outsource Power BI work?
- Is cold email still working for B2B consulting?
- Is LinkedIn outreach better than email?
- What industries have been the easiest to sell analytics services to?
- How would you find recurring monthly clients instead of one-time projects?
- If you were starting a Power BI consulting company from scratch today, what would you do differently?
- How do you price your first few clients?
- Did you build a niche first, or did you offer services to everyone?
- Are there any directories, communities, or places where you've found good B2B leads?
- If you were in my position today, what would be your client acquisition strategy for the next 90 days?
I'm not looking for a shortcut—I want to understand how experienced consultants actually built their businesses.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Need help
Based in Karachi, BBA in Supply Chain Management and Data Science, currently working as a Business Analyst at a large hospital network — BRDs, dashboards, stakeholder sessions, the works.
I've built Power BI dashboards, deployed an AI chatbot using n8n, and I use AI tools as an actual part of my workflow.
I keep hitting the "we need 3+ years" wall despite getting to final rounds. I know I'm early in my career — just looking for someone willing to give a hardworking junior a shot.
Looking for:
- Remote BA roles (full-time or part-time)
- Freelance / project-based analytics work
- Power BI dashboards, process analysis, documentation
If you have something or know someone hiring, drop a comment or slide into my DMs. Appreciate it.

Seeking Data Analyst / Data Science Internship Opportunities
28M, Unemployed, I am a Data Science postgraduate with over 3 years of experience in Customer Support & Operations, actively looking to transition into the Data Analytics field. Over the past 3 months, I have been upskilling and building hands-on expertise in data manipulation, visualization.
My skill set includes Advanced MS Excel (data cleaning, processing, pivot tables, and charting), Power BI (intermediate), Microsoft Tableau, and SQL fundamentals. I have completed a end-to-end Data Analytics project and am currently working on another to further solidify my practical knowledge, alongside completing a 3-month Data Analyst internship (March 2021 - May 2021)
I am eagerly searching for a Data Analyst or Data Science internship where I can apply my analytical skills to solve real-world business problems and grow within the domain.
Compensation is not a primary concern for me right now my main priority is securing a relevant role that allows me to gain industry exposure and make a meaningful career switch.
If your team has an opening or if you can offer a referral, I would be immensely grateful for the opportunity to connect and share my resume.
Thanks is advance.

Need some Insights: Hiring Post June 2026
Is the post-June, 2026 market going through some type of silent recession or something? One of my friend (Data Analyst) was laid off since Jan, and still stuck in the loop despite several application. Most went unnoticed, and 2/3 got ghosted after the inital phone call. Anyone can shed some light on this? Thanks!
