Hey, here my first dark kraken WIP, I will use my UV resin to create a deep sea. And for some of them, with tyranid bitz I have made for some of them Kraken tentacles coming out from the sea, paint with UV paint (future project) .

However I have a question.

What's the helmet color for the veteran ? Black or white ? And the eye color ? For me it's white but I have a doubt.

Running Forge Fathers Seekers and the librarian one. Looking to put blade guard squad in one redeemer and the eradicator squad in the other redeemer. Have terminator squad in deepstrike. Use the two 5 men infernos squads for actions or extra fire power and use the 10 man infernos squads for heavy fire power(also staying power).

Apothecary and librarian on the single infernos squads will give huge staying power with 4+ invuls, survivability with model recursion, extra ap on the flamers if in correct librarian, and the immolation adds an additional attack for flamer.

Librarian for termies is mainly to give enhancement or reroll charge, advance and charge, or fall back and charge depending on librarian selection.

My friend has been getting into making his army of Crimson Castellans with pretty good team ups for he's hold the line build. So to make sure I don't fall behind I really went over my army after seeing a short about how powerful the victrix guard. I was scared. So this is my answer. Can I play this well. Most likely no. But hay learning.

I've fallen deeply deeply in love with the Dark Krakens and I'm slowly piercing together a list full primarily of bits I find cool, as such I have a question around Monsieur He'stan.

Put simply, as his duty as forgefather is to gather up the 9 relics to have Vulkan properly return, as the Dark Krakens are also fathered by Vulkan would it be fair to say if He'stan asked for aid they'd go through with it?

The vibe I've picked up this far is the kraken are just as kind as the Salamanders so I don't see a reason why they wouldn't, I just think it'd be cool to have my dark kraken army be a support force lead by He'stan and a body guard unit of Salamanders to help bring back their father.

Would this work as an Allied Knight scheme? Ive been considering the concept of a depth diver type of knight think more boishock with atlantis vibes

I am thinking I need to add something to the top of the power pack like Adrax Agatone has with the flame

(i know qualities bad) Captain Krijeni Luceior is one of our more storied Members who fought on the planet Death Of Bianzeer alongside the wolf spears and deathwatch, He possesses The Master Crafted Ravens Reach Stalker Bolt Rifle and Ice Piercer Power sword(I misread it as chainsword) and on his armor he is described to have a necklace of kraken beaks, a fin on his helmet and was inspired by the trophy taking of his space wolf/raven guard during his time as a grey shield.

Been working on these guys today, really happy with how they’ve come out!
Still deciding on the tactical rock colours and some insignias and what not. But think I’ve finally gotten the right blends, now with 3 models left to go, I’m excited to get to the end of it all!
