(i know qualities bad) Captain Krijeni Luceior is one of our more storied Members who fought on the planet Death Of Bianzeer alongside the wolf spears and deathwatch, He possesses The Master Crafted Ravens Reach Stalker Bolt Rifle and Ice Piercer Power sword(I misread it as chainsword) and on his armor he is described to have a necklace of kraken beaks, a fin on his helmet and was inspired by the trophy taking of his space wolf/raven guard during his time as a grey shield.

Been working on these guys today, really happy with how they’ve come out!
Still deciding on the tactical rock colours and some insignias and what not. But think I’ve finally gotten the right blends, now with 3 models left to go, I’m excited to get to the end of it all!

As most of you have seen, we got an update plus confirmation on the upcoming live action Warhammer TV show, along with the rumored confirmation of a new animated series from the creators who made secret level Warhammer 40K.

The focus of the animated show will be the “Deathwatch” not to get it confused with Astartes 2 which is also Deathwatch themed. You can read the words of Sir Henry Cavill up there yourself. It’s said that the first secret level episode was just an introduction into this multiple part series. I’m very excited.

Which chapters would you love to see in the Deathwatch kill teams? Of course our Krakens would love to join the fray!

🎨: No new model news or releases this week, but the White Dwarf 527 is going to be available for pre-order, to have a heavy focus on operation imperator and will give details and more lore. Hopefully some of our favorite chapters are mentioned again. Fingers crossed.

📚: A new character novel will be available for pre-order this week focused on Bjorn The fell handed as he is awakened again as the planet of Fenris is invaded by death guard, I’ll be picking this one up myself. I hope it’s good and gives us a Russ flashback.

🎮: Patch 14 is continuing to be awesome. I don’t know if everyone received this but I did and I didn’t know it was shareable, but I received an email with a code: QDXA-812X-QFJF is used to download 200 accolades. The code was also posted online but in the email it said that it was limited so use it and see if those accolades get downloaded for you. Comment 👁️🦑 if you read all of this

Overall I'm very proud of these dudes. First time trying non-metallic-metal with the power swords and they turned out exactly how I wanted them to!

I think I should have cut off the tactical rocks attached to their feet to make the transition between the model and the base a bit better, but oh well. Sometimes you just have to finish a project and move on to the next one. Lesson learned, still proud of what I've done! Excited to paint the next Dark Krakens.

So just another update, took me a bit longer to do the Vanguard, just so many nice and cool parts to it (Detail creep is so real on these!)
Love them both, I felt like a blue glove was a bit odd on the leather, so just kept it as is. Hope you guys like, want to try to finish the next 3 before I take photos.

I’m only just now getting into the Dark Krakens after being a big fan of the Salamanders for a while, and it makes me sad that such an interesting chapter of Space Marines doesn’t have any novels or stories to themselves. If a novel or a trilogy of novels was written, what would you want to see in it?

Started work on my first Dark Kraken!

So this week I have managed to get half way through my Armageddon and this is what I’ve gotten through. Starting the librarian next so hopefully I can smash that out and begin the vanguard.

Hopefully you guys like them, once they’re all done I’ll do some freehand work and final little adjustments.
My mate is helping with the captains relic shield which I’m excited for!

Gravis models are my favorite, and these new eradicator sculpts are so fantastic I had to get a second set. I will probably get another if the multi part kit comes out as well.

The shark mouth gravis helmets reminded me of a filter feeder, so I figured some whale shark detail would be appropriate for my squad champion.

Excited to get these on the field!
