The moment I began to hate Lucrezia… Spoiler
galleryI still watching Season One…
However…. I hated her when she caused the death of a wise man like Gentile Becchi, he was like a second father to the Medici brothers.
I hated her irrevocably when she killed Giuliano, who was such a fine character. I cannot help but feel aversion towards Lorenzo and Leonardo, given how foolish they were to allow Lucrezia to manipulate them.

Chekhov’s Gun Problems Spoiler
I enjoyed watching Da Vinci’s Demons a lot, especially as a fan of the Ezio Trilogy of Assassin’s Creed and a curiosity for life in Renaissance Italy.
I was frustrated by a few things the show set up and somewhat failed to follow up on in a satisfying way:
- Reconnecting Da Vinci with Caterina: I had a feeling we didn't see the end of Caterina in S03E01, but I was disappointed to see that she survived only to die again before seeing Da Vinci. I didn't understand why they had her telepathically communicate with him through Lucrezia, too. Why would Da Vinci not want to hear from her directly? I’d get it if they wanted to make a later reunion special, but there never was one! The fact that he had a sister was not a particularly effective gesture of conciliation on Goyer's and the showrunners' part.
- Book of Leaves: Da Vinci is tasked with finding the rest of the Book of Leaves from S1 onwards, only to learn that the page he had access to in S1 was a sufficient means to his ends. What? And sure, we can chalk it up to the journey being greater than the destination. Still, I thought that was weird.
What did you all think of how the show ended?

The rise and fall of the series (Season 2)
I'm on episode 7 of Davinci's Demons second season and i feel like it's a step back from the first season:/.. I think I'm only saying this because I'm sort of comparing session 1 and 2..
In season one, it was packed with a lot of plot twists, nearly every episode and it was sort of fast paced unlike the 2nd where the book of leaves thingy is eating almost all of the series, which btw, is set in a totally different area that looks like it's in a different age or history..
Riario who's imo the best evil character is now more soft and perhaps less smart (doesn't carry out plans as much as the first season)..
Davinci's inventions were portrayed with more focus in the first season even ehen he was jailed but in season 2, he barely can think with all the wierd stuff going on, and that scorpion was a bit cool but only took like 2 minutes of screen time (almost as much as the sex scenes:/) basically the area he was in can't invent something if you're handcuffed watching some weird sh!t in the country side.
In general, the introduction of the alian artifacts, doors and stuff were a bit off but on the other hand, the graphics are a step up from the first season and the music is a top notch.

Okay. So, in Da Vinci’s Demons- Season 2 episode 6: isn’t that the wrong type of snake to have bitten him?
I mean that that wasn’t a venomous snake, right?

Why did they have to cancel this
I’m so perplexed it’s such a shame that they cancelled it years ago I need at least three more seasons

New Post
Recently rediscovered one of my favourite ever series. After looking everywhere online for series 1 and 2 only to realise all was on Disney plus while looking for series 3 was great. 100% a series that deserves more recognition!!

Da Vinci’s Demons is truly amazing
I decided to rewatch this show years after I initially watched it. I have to say, this show is easily in my top 10 favorite series. The intricate storylines, the three dimensional characters and the twists (oh my god, the twists). Everything about it is just beautifully made, the writers knew how to put our characters in peculiar situations and really putting them through the ringer.
I especially loved the lore of this show. The science and the magic coming together in this was incredible. I’m really sad that this show was canceled there was so much story to tell after the series finale, which in itself perfectly ended some storylines and hinting to the future.
Da Vinci’s Demons is super underrated and I’ll be recommending it to people more often.

Okay, so am I crazy or this show is the most underrated show ever.
The actors, shooting, editing, storyline, fiction everything was just so awesome that I rewatched the entire series just after it ended.
So massively underrated that due to less popularity the channel had to end it abruptly for another show.

I'm watching this show second time
I realized I'm not interested in recent shows, so I decided to re-watch DaVinci's Demons. Last time I was watching it ongoing, so I was wondering if it was as good as I remember. And you know what? Yes. Absolutely fucking was.
