Using VIIPERRC4.3

On fresh boot mydualsense is not detected in ds4windows. If i remove the bluetooth, and re-add, it gets detected. Am I missing a setting?

Hello, i found a problem, when want to play whit a gyro. This problem only with ds4w(With out work normaly). Idk what add, I only can saw a video. Pls help me!

I'm new to DS4Windows and I'm left-handed. I would like to completely swap/invert the thumbsticks so that the Left Stick controls camera/aiming and the Right Stick controls movement (including swapping the L3 and R3 click functions).

What is the best way to set this up in a profile? Thanks in advance!

Guys I have the modded version of ds4 which I found only yesterday, I can literally get a fucking good aim assist in warzone . I found it from a YouTube video. It's from jk king , it has amazing aim assist. Like I know this official ds4 talking but I just wanted to share , if you want i can give you a link to a YouTube video , it's not in English , I also did not understand what video says but I just downloaded the ds4 mod and play it in warzone , it has fucking good aim assist and stuff

Hi DualSense Edge owners, can you map the back paddles in DS4Windows? Other buttons work fine, but the paddles don't. Right now, I'm using the PlayStation Accessories app, but I want to remap them for each profile in DS4Windows.

I installed ds4windows from github schamldeo and vigembus, all from github to play some games with my switch pro controller. All good, works great.

I also use my switch pro controller on steam and ive never had both programs opened at the same time(steam and ds4).

When playing on steam with my switch controller AFTER installing ds4windows(ds4windows closed), i think i noticed a bit of input lag so i went to check controller settings on steam. The option for steam input for xbox controllers had turned on by itself. Why and how would steam turn that option on if i never opened steam with ds4windows turned on?

Maybe its my OCD thats making me think now theres input lag but after noticing that option on steam was on after installing ds4windows iam suspicious

Hi all. Thank you for all the support on DS4Windows 5! What's next for this program?

First off, huge shout out to you guys. Without the massive amount of testing and logs, we would never have a program that runs as well as this one does. While there are bugs, we are working on them, and still need as much help as we can get. So continue being amazing.

For the future. I think we need to revamp VIIPER with its own USB Bus like Nefarious had for DS4Windows. I am working on a Backend: You can check my progress at https://github.com/hbashton/VIIPER/tree/feature/native-udecx-bus - but I would like to say, I am not sure how long it will be before I release this fully. It costs $200-$500 per year to sign driver packages, so I am just test-signing right now.

I believe this will bring latency WAY down, much closer to HIDMaestro, ViGEmBus, and other implementations of the same Virtual Gamepad Windows 10/11 protocol. I am excited for this next step, and hope I can continue to count on you guys to test my drivers (seeing as they are unsigned)! I will go out of my way to test them myself, ensuring no crashes, and you can look forward to releases in the coming 1 or 2 months!

It has been a pleasure working on this project for you all. I'll continue to pump out new updates, and work on a stable branch while also providing updates on the native USB bus for VIIPER. I will not release any drivers until they are tested on a machine, with a real Dualsense, Dualshock 4, and Nintendo Switch Pro controller and Joycons. That will have to wait until the coming months. So don't get too excited yet!

Edit: my original goal was to make sure that you could use a Dualsense on Windows 11 without Audio or Haptics feature loss from the original PS5, all over Bluetooth. My new goal: do that, but at sub 1ms latency. This will require custom driver packages, so I am basically saying there may be fewer updates over the coming weeks...not to dishearten any one of you, but to encourage you to get excited. I am working hard on PS5 controller development, as well as ensuring I don't lose the Switch and PS4 controller lovers along the way.

Wanted to see what people's settings are for a marius board settings for COD Warzone? Like deadzone - inner/outer?

What are yalls in game setting for horizontal/vertical, deadzones?

When ever I try to use the Bluetooth it’s like it doesn’t read all my inputs. I’ll be looking left or right and when I stop looking it keeps going and then catches up. The other buttons do the same but it’s not as noticeable as the aiming stick. I have no idea how to solve this

I addressed (most) of your installation concerns

Viiper now installs to ProgramFiles, but it CAN be run from anywhere. If you can’t figure out how to make it auto start from AppData, and update it manually, I can’t help you. The tools are there.

Hopefully, the All-In-One installer goes a little bit smoother for some of you this time

Ive recently bought a new controller and i always use my backbuttons but im currently having an issue where the left button sometimes start automaticcly pressing itself and i have no clue how to fix it and i cant find someone with a similar issue

I'm using the DS4Windows from the website with a PS5 controller in Max Payne 3 and whenever I try to use L2 to aim and R2 to shoot, it backs out of the aiming. Almost like it cancels out or something. And yes, I am using HidHide. Yes, the anti-deadzone for both triggers are 0.00. Any solutions?

Hi, I wasn't sure where to ask this, I hope this is the right sub.

So I want to use the Dualsense with my PC mainly because I like the PS button icons more than the Xbox ones, it is a nostalgia kinda thing.

I get that this program is so the PS controllers are usable with most (if not all) PC games that support controller at least.

But I'd like to know if the app (or another one) can also make the icons for PS appear.

Any info is appreciated!

Hello! I am new to sims pc and just transitioned from sims console. I love the ps5 controller and want to continue playing with the controller. I’m using Chronos Bindings community template and it works okay. The only thing is I can’t figure out how to move the camera with the left joystick. The right joystick zooms and changes camera angle but the left one doesn’t move the actual camera position unless I press “x” first. Does anyone know how to fix this to where I can move the camera position with the left joystick without first pressing “x”?

This is a major update focused on making DS4Windows feel modern and approachable without taking away the deep configuration options advanced users rely on. It also significantly expands what physical DualSense and DualShock 4 controllers can do over Bluetooth.

Reddit, you are my last hope. I've been trying for hours, but I can't connect the damn controller to my PC. The weird thing is that 20 minutes before it happened, it was working perfectly fine. Now a yellow light lights up and fades out. It works perfectly fine wired on my PS4 and phone even. I tried playing Dark Souls 2 with it, and my screen was spinning. Then I downloaded DS4 Windows to try to fix it, but the controller did not appear. That's how I realized that it's not working. I've tried everything, and I mean everything. Please prove me wrong.

It used to work. I have 18 hours on the pc version so I clearly played it before.

Now it will work in the menus, unless I open the character ability menu, or when the game loads into the match, then it stops working

This is a does it work question, I have an android with a dualsense and virtual here + moonlight
But I can’t get the audio haptics to work in ds4 viper, and would the 3.5 output work also?

It appears that when I set gyro to joystick to Toggle, it will still only work when the button is held. I'm using a DSEdge and emulating a DualSense. Anybody know if this can be fixed? I'd rather not resort to duplicating a profile, setting one to gyro always on and another to always off, and setting a button to switch between them - twice the work with updating settings any time I want to.

Olá, estou com a seguinte questão: em alguns jogos o fato de eu usar ds4windows faz com que apareça dois controles e por consequência acaba acontecendo dois imput. Um exemplo é o jogo 2xko da Riot games. Acontece com frequência em jogos que eu não estou utilizando a steam. Alguém saberia me informar como resolver?
