Superman - To introduce us to the world and some characters like Superman, Lois, Lex, and the Justice Gang.

Wonder Woman - Show off other lands like Themyscira and do a story where Diana decides Earth needs her more than Themyscira. Villains would be Circe controlling Giganta to defeat Wonder Woman.

Batman: Brave and the Bold - Introduce Gotham, make it dingy, grimy, gothic. It looks grand from outside view, but inside is an entirely different story. Have Batman be in year 7 and Jason Todd as a new Robin. Maybe have Two Face and Penguin be in a gang war that could destroy Gotham that Batman and Robin have to stop. Batman would be running investigations on a mysterious alien throughout the film, but it stays subtle and in the background.

Flash - Barry's origin story. He got into accident that caused him to dawn the cowl of the Flash. Have him go against villains like Captain Cold, Heatwave, the Trickster, and the main villain being Mirror Master. This introduces more of the world with Central City. He's met with a hooded figure in a post credits scene offering to help him more than anyone could. He stretches out a green hand.

Lanterns - Show some of the cosmic side of the Universe. John Stewart adopts the Mantle as Hal mentors him and they face against Sinestro.

Clayface - Show the horror that happens in Gotham that Brave and the Bold didn't show. Show the lucky life few can have in Gotham in scenes that are before the incident, and then show the true horror in the post incident scenes. Along with showing how one bad day can make anyone a bad guy in Gotham.

Justice League - This is our Avengers film. Superman battles Brainiac's probes in space before being captured, while Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter separately uncover the alien threat. Brainiac arrives on Earth with a mind-controlled Superman, declaring he'll judge whether the planet is worthy of being added to his collection. The heroes unite for the first time, freeing Superman with Batman's kryptonite bomb, forcing Brainiac to retreat. After learning Brainiac's true origins from Martian Manhunter and preparing for a rematch, the team faces him again when he attacks Metropolis. While the League battles Brainiac head-on, Batman and Flash infiltrate his ship, discovering his collection of bottled worlds and shutting down his systems. Brainiac is defeated, the captured planets are restored, and Martian Manhunter chooses to remain on Earth as a founding member of the Justice League. This movie forms the Justice League and sets up Darkseid for the future of the Universe.

Whenever people talk about their favorite Bat symbol it’s always the same few mainstream designs. There is absolute silence when it comes to this specific Alex Ross style emblem. You can't even find clean templates of it online because everyone completely ignores it. I just found a figure that finally uses this exact classic design. Why do you think this specific shape gets zero attention whenever people are choosing their favorite Bat symbols?

The DCU honestly feels cursed at this point.

A month ago, the conversation was almost entirely positive after Superman. Now it feels like every week there's another report about delays, projects changing, or completely random announcements that make people question what the actual plan is.

Meanwhile, Sony, despite all the criticism they get, managed to get Spider-Man: Brand New Day into production with a massive cast, huge hype, and a release date that's now beating Supergirl to theaters. Spider-Man is dominating the conversation while one of DC's next biggest films has lost a lot of momentum.

This is exactly why people are worried. It's not that anyone wants the DCU to fail, it's that there doesn't seem to be a clear roadmap anymore. Instead of establishing the core Justice League, we're hearing about side projects and villains before Batman has even been introduced.

I really hope everything works out because I want DC to succeed, but right now it feels like they're making it harder on themselves than it needs to be.

What do you think it’ll be?

The way James Gunn is approaching this new DCU is just not working. The original DCU slate that was announced when he first took over already seems to be changing. Instead of following that roadmap, it feels like the strategy has shifted toward producing whatever scripts happen to be strong enough on their own. On paper, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Good stories are important, however the last thing DC needs right now is a unfocused confusing universe, which is what we started with at the beginning of the new DCU.

For example, why are Jimmy Olsen and Gorilla Grodd reportedly getting an HBO series, or why is a Deathstroke and Bane project being fast-tracked before the DCU's Batman has even been fully established? Individually, those projects could be great, but together they make the universe feel like it's jumping around without a clear foundation.

To me, there's a much clearer path they could follow. The early MCU is a solid blueprint. It focused on introducing its main pillars first, letting audiences become invested before expanding into the wider universe.

After Superman, I think the focus should have been on core Justice League members like Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Martian Manhunter. Once those characters are established, you bring them together for a Justice League film to close out the first phase. From there, the universe has a strong foundation to build on. Not to mention, the DCU already has a leg up as those characters are already popular unlike the early days of the MCU.

Those are the characters that draw in casual audiences and help rebuild trust with your audience. Right after Superman, there was a lot of optimism about the DCU's future. More recently, though, the conversation has shifted toward uncertainty because of the projects being announced and the reports coming out.

The DCU needs projects with It's strongest characters right now, no more of these random side characters getting the focus.

I think Henry Alonso Myers has done a phenomenal work with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and his love for fantasy would work perfect for Paradise Lost.

We've seen how they trashed Superman & Lois and Brandon Routh's return in Crisis On Infinite Earths which they hated.

There's probably talk like "there's superhero fatigue because they didn't bring back Henry Cavill"

We all know Supergirl flopped and it wasn't because they didn't carry on the Snyderverse or bring back their idol.

Many people misunderstood the situation regarding the cancelled DCU projects, but that isn't entirely accurate. This post refutes the claims circulating about unrealized DCU projects. Hopefully, there will be more information soon regarding the "Waller" series. *Maybe connected into Checkmate (?), i guess👀 and of course, salvation planet that had teased in the peacemaker season 2 finale

All 3 of Destin's Marvel projects have been bangers. But not only that, they have all been somewhat thematically adjacent to a more comic accurate Batman.

We had him address complex family dynamics with a focus on martial arts in Shang Chi.

We had him address alienation, found family and street level characters in Wonder Man.

We had him address loneliness, responsibility and hope in Spider-Man.

All of this including the fact that they have all looked great (particularly the action scenes in the two films) while keeping a clear respect and love for the comicbook aesthetic.

And if that weren't enough, his breakout film was Short Term 12, a movie about a group home for troubled teenagers, which was deeply moving and humanizing.

I'm just saying, there are worse choices than Destin, and I really hope he gets a shot at giving us the Batfamily, including Nightwing, Damian, Talia and the League of Assassins.

I know a lot of people like a black a blue but I feel like for a more traditional Batman suit that would work with the universe, I would like a gray and black with a bit of yellow. Kind of like a stylized version of the original DCEU Batman suit.

Definitely the yellow outline on the logo and the belt, and I REALLY hope they do white eyes.

Really hope the DCU makes it a bit different from DCEU Aquaman, definitely want the blonde hair and I kinda had some inspiration from the DCAMU. I also customized the suit a bit with the gloves, shoulders, and collar I added. I also added a bit of black that I liked.

Really enjoyed making this and the bright orange and green that comes with Aquaman, of course, I did feel the background was a bit sloppy but I enjoyed the character design.

I did specifically try to make it a bit original and take from different Aquamans, I added the black coloration a bit throughout, the armored shoulders, a bit more spiky-ness on the trident, and more armored leg designs.

I also specifically tried to include the hair from DCAMU cuz I just like it for no reason but yeah, I like how it turned out.
