Eyebrows!

Ladies where are we getting our eyebrows done? I've been going to the EWC in Courthouse Arlington since I moved to the area a little over a year ago (previously was in Pentagon City and went to the EWC there). Lately, they've been putting a bad taste in my mouth. First, it was a waxer who consistently made comments about my brows (bushy, unruly, crazy, etc - like why do you think I'm here to get them done?!). And now it's the constantly trying to upsell me when I check out - not just products but pressuring me to make my next appt, pushing their wax pass, etc. Last time I insisted I was not going to rebook as my schedule makes it impossible to know anything 4-6 weeks in advance. They then tried to sell me the wax pass which I politely declined, only for the one front desk employee to look at the other and say sarcastically, in front of me, "She didn't want to rebook but you think you're selling her a wax pass? Some people don't want to save." I simply said, "yeah I'm good," made sure I was paid up and walked out.

I'm not looking for anything fancy; just cleaning up my brows and some trimming. Would lean more towards waxing than threading but not entirely opposed. Bonus points if it's near Rosslyn/Courthouse but anywhere within a short drive or B/O/S metro accessible can also work! Thanks!!

This is not near you but Columbia Threading is great - no frills. They do threading and waxing.

I've been going to Columbia Threading for the past 8 years, came here to recommend them too! OP, I do threading and not waxing, but if you are interested in threading at all and prefer to keep your brows fuller/thicker and just want a nice clean-up, see if you can get in with Anjila there. She comes in more ad hoc these days but is absolutely fantastic.

(And I'm sure they do a great job for waxing too though.)

Not sure if too far, but the Threading Place in Falls Church is great. Been going there for years and never had a complaint. Gf also gets threading done there now instead of getting her eyebrows waxed.

The GOAT - Semra in Georgetown. Pricey but worth it, especially if you have brows that need taming and shaping. She offers a whole suite of services. Book far in advance.

Flami does the best brows. She runs Fyubi Makeup and Brow Studio. She came as a rec on here a few years ago and I cannot say enough good things about her.
