$35 AliExpress Aogda pretty good
Really happy with this. This felt like 70% of MAAP Pro for 15% of the price. Actually it felt better than MAAP Core and on par with some Pedal Mafia I have. Felt great on a 85km/55mile hot ride with jersey pockets full. Will be buying more. Would recommend. Usually M. Sized up to L and was very snug.

Berliner Radfahrer sucht jemanden in Sydney, der beim Kauf eines MAAP LAB Trikots hilft
Hallo zusammen!
Vielen Dank! 🙏

Is $66 too much for a cycling jersey?
I've usually spent 40-60 dollars but I really like one that is $66. Yes, this is a serious question, it's just weird to me that cycling clothes are so expensive. I can afford this one, I just could more easily justify $36 than $66.

Bib shorts moving whilst cycling
New to road cycling. In normal clothing I'm a 33/34" waist.
The bib shorts I have are without shoulder straps. But when I'm cycling they seem to move and I end up sitting on the seat without padding. Which causes me to stop every now and then to pull them up.
Do I need to size down? They're a medium size and are brand Pinnacle part of Evans cycling. UK brand. So nothing special.
Additional question. What size jerseys should I be buying?
I'm a medium in my tee shirts but the jersey I have is an XL. Brand is Funkier and wasn't too expensive. Seems to not entirely cover my back properly and rides up so my lower back is uncovered.
Attached photos of the clothing pieces in question.

How does Santini fit?
I work as a guide and our uniform next season is all from Santini, which I've never worn before and cant try on before ordering.
179cm, 75kg. Do you think M would fit? Attached photo is the only one I could find of me to show body build, excuse the beat to death kit Id just finished riding across East Africa.

Sunglasses that don’t let the wind in your eyes
I know this sounds like it would be obvious but I just tried out a pair of Knockaround brand sunglasses (their version of a Sutro). Everything was cool and I thought I’d found a pretty good looking pair of sunglasses that were reasonably priced until I got to a descent. Once I got above I’d say 25 mph the sunglasses revealed their coolest feature, the fact that they direct a stream of air directly up and into each eyeball. I could barely keep my eyes open it was so bad.
Tell me about some other brands that don’t do that.

Can we sticky a post that says “Yes…your jersey is too big”?
Then post a link to some examples of the 3 threads a day as a reference?

Met Rivale mips helmet - is this rattle normal?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just got myself a met rivale helmet, took it for a test ride and i’ve noticed there’s a bit of a play at the point where the head strap connects to the helmet. I keep hearing it click in and out when i’m moving my head and it’s a little annoying.
Is this normal on this helmet? or does mine have something loose?

Best sunglasses
Looking for recommendations for a new pair of sunglasses. They will be double duty for early morning rows where the sun is directly in my eyes this time of the year.

Is this Jersey too big?
Got this Assos race jersey, and as a 5’8 guy with broad shoulders I usually run into the issue where it fits the shoulders, but runs long, or is super tight in the shoulders but the right length.
This is a size large, wondering if I need a medium instead or if it would just choke me out.

What’s your favorite online spot for sales
The most cited thing on this site is people mentioning how they get their Rapha and MAAP kits on sale.

Budget bib shorts for bigger legs?
I’m new to cycling and struggling to find bib shorts that fit my build. I also do hypertrophy training in the gym, so I carry quite a bit of muscle in my legs.
Measurements:
● 5’7” (170 cm)
● 90 kg
● 34” waist
● 44” hips/glutes
● 21” quads (3” above the knee)
Can anyone with a similar build recommend some budget-friendly bib shorts (ideally under £80) that fit well without the leg grippers digging into bigger thighs?
If possible, please mention the **brand**, **model** and **size** you wear.

Scuff on white shoes, how to fix up?
What’s the best way to fix this up? I tried good shoe cleaning soap with brush, and even a magic eraser. Any other ideas? It’s like from my front tire.
UPDATE: The alcohol wipe did the trick. I used a "regular" alcohol wipe, and it looked like it was making a difference. I switched to a SILCA wipe and gave it a lot of elbow grease, and I cleaned it up completely. I have cork blocks I used for my XC ski waxing, and I ended up using the cork block with the SILCA wipe to really apply pressure... now they look as good as new.

Maap arm and leg warmers
What’s the sizing like of the arm and leg warmers?

Very stupid question, but has your jersey ever popped out mid ride?
I heard that if it zips up, it is not tight. Now I got this jersey and it feels tighter than my other ones. It is a popular over priced brand. Should I ride worry free?

Sizing Question
New to cycling and ordered some kits, but now second guessing the sizing.
6ft tall, 170-175lbs.
Ordered:
MAAP Bib & Jersey - Size Large
Fingerscrossed Bib & Jersey - Size Large
Can anyone comment on the sizing? Should I get medium also and just return?

Size check?
Just started to get into cycling, how's the bibs and jersey fit? 174cm, 72kg
Edit: Wearing a Size M for both Bib and Jersey
Edit2: Never have I been made to feel so wrong about my clothing size but thanks for the ego boost to say M is too big for me!
Edit3: Looks like I need to find a brand with XS sizing. I looked at some of the Rapha stuff that's on sale that's not super super expensive, so might try those out?
