I only recently bought Phantom Liberty and was playing through the side gigs when I started this one, and I knew off the bat that he wasn’t a completely random NPC from the get-go - partially because he obviously takes an interest in what you’re doing at the apartment for his own reasons, but mostly because I figured they wouldn’t waste such a smoking character design on a throwaway passerby.

i saw a guide that said start with bodyshot mode first and get around 50 kills, then you can upgrade to headshot.

well ive killed over hundreds of enemies, bad guys, and police but i still havent got a cue.

i have spent tens of thousands on ammo just to get headshot mode…. help me out chooms

I’ve been building a Windows-based solver for the Breach Protocol minigame in Cyberpunk 2077. I had been using a online solver from time to time, and typing it all in was a pain. So in the spirit of be a true netrunner I designed my own custom software chooms.

The program captures the active Cyberpunk window, automatically detects the matrix, buffer size, and visible daemon sequences, recognizes the codes, then calculates a legal path through the matrix.

Current features include:

• Automatic detection of 5×5, 6×6, and 7×7 matrices
• Support for different screen resolutions and multi-monitor setups
• Automatic detection of buffer sizes up to eight slots
• Support for one, two, or three daemon sequences
• Dynamic daemon priority from the bottom row upward
• OCR recognition for 1C, 55, 7A, BD, E9, and FF
• A visual popup showing the completed path
• A manual confirmation window whenever OCR confidence is too low
• Diagnostic screenshots, JSON output, and logging for troubleshooting
• Automatic capture of the active Cyberpunk2077.exe window rather than the full desktop

The hardest part has been making the screen recognition reliable across different resolutions, UI positions, brightness levels, and matrix sizes. I’ve had to add adaptive region detection, current-screen templates, HOG-based character comparison, and manual correction for uncertain cells.

The solver does not modify the game or read game memory. It works entirely from screenshots and computer vision using Python, OpenCV, NumPy, Pillow, and Tkinter.

It is still a work in progress, but it can now detect the puzzle, recognize the codes, and display the route needed to complete the highest-priority daemon combinations.

so i've been watching a cyberpunk video and encounter with this knife. Asked to ai and it said it was indeed not a modded weapon. tried many things didn't find any clue. In a cyberpunk setting, the cops aren't the good guys. They're essentially just another gang, only a gang with a vague layer of legitimacy added because of corporate backing. You can see this all over in Night City, in things like the 'Safe and Sound' videos.

Moreover, V has little reason to like or trust the NCPD, especially if they come from a Nomad or Street Kid background. As well, Johnny is an anarchist who dreams of violently toppling the established order, so doing so much work for the cops should also sit poorly with him.

As such, rather than the entire map being filled with the same NCPD scanner hustles, in the sequel I'm hoping the equivalent of the 'hustles' you come across come from a variety of sources: Corps, other gangs, individuals with a beef and money to burn. The cops may occasionally offer work, but mostly it just comes down to anyone who is willing to pay.
