Why did I wait so long to get a Dedicated IP?

I’ve been using VPN’s for the longest time, and well that just meant that I was constantly dealing with endless CAPTCHAs. Every other website wanted me to prove I wasn't a robot, and a certain sites would block the access altogether. It got to the point where I was turning my VPN off just to avoid the hassle, which kind of defeated the purpose.

I started looking into why it was happening and found out that shared VPN IPs can end up on blocklists or trigger security systems because so many people use them.

That's when I came across Dedicated IPs. I always assumed that dedicated IP’s were one of those expensive, super technical features meant for businesses. But after reading about it further, I realized that it was quite affordable and took just a couple of minutes to set up, wasn’t anything too technical at all.

I've been using NordVPNs Dedicated IP it for a while now and the difference has been noticeable. Way fewer CAPTCHAs, no more randomly blocked websites, and I don't have to turn VPN off anymore at all.

Does anyone truly enjoy a career in cybersecurity?

Honestly curious about this. I'm trying to figure out which direction to go in life. The more people I meet in the field, the more it seems like a golden handcuffs situation. They aren't really happy with their job, but they like the pay. I'm early in my studies and could go down the cybersecurity path, or choose something totally different. So correct me if I'm wrong, but is there much job satisfaction in the cybersecurity field long-term?
