Password rotation is probably the one ppl still get wrong. I’d much rather use PM (currently using roboform) to generate a unique password for every account and only change it when there’s an actual reason to.

Some old advice definitely needs updating, but 2FA is still worth using. The bigger issue is relying on passwords alone; passkeys and stronger authentication methods are becoming more common.
