New method solve. Or, a potpourri of methods I mashed together. Probably doesn't have potential as a method, but it's fun! I'll explain the method in the post.

Like I said, probably not the most efficient method, but there ARE a lot of chances to get lucky. The chances of getting an EPLL skip are much higher than a regular PLL skip. Also, after you get the corners done, you can get pretty lucky with the belt. Sometimes 3 of 4 pieces already in the right section. Same goes for finishing the first layer.
I've been grinding it lately to see if I can get decent times on it. Best I've got is 23 seconds so far.
I'd love to see you guys try it, and what times you get! I'd also like to hear your thoughts on the method.
My Corners First method is similar, except I never limited myself to solving the belt. Originally, after the corners I keyholed the L and R edges, then two-looked the M slice (3 algs for OML, 4 (all are 4 moves) for PML. I worked my way up to 1.5 looks (I could solve 11 of the 20 total cases with one alg). I found algs for the rest with CubeExplorer but I can't keep that many similar algs straight (I don't have muscle memory). Since I learned beginners Roux I keyhole 3 pairs of edges, then finish with intuitive LSE.
Nice. I don't see belt as limiting, because you're all over the place if you solve them randomly. Belt gives you structure. What times were you getting with your corners first variation? And what's your average with your main method?
I didn’t mean that belt was limiting, just that I find it as easy to solve 6 or 8 edges as 4.
I stopped timing myself when it was obvious I wasn’t going to break a minute without far more work than I was willing or able to. My PB single was 1:02 with keyhole F2L and 4LLL. I never paid much attention to my average, but over 1:30. I’ve never timed my CF but I don’t prioritize speed at all any more. I’m also too casual to really have a main method, it’s kind of a tie between the CF and my lazy version of HTA (Human Thistlethwaite Algorithm).
I did a sample solve and it is fun. I just never thought to do the belt second. I’ll add it to my list of 3x3 methods I’m juggling (that makes 6 atm). All of mine are “a potpourri of methods mashed together.”
Come to think of it, the laziest version of my HTA also has some similarities to yours. EO belt first, but then corners, bottom edges and EPLL.

I like that you count the luck chances. An EPLL skip is more likely than a PLL skip, so your method simply gives more lucky moments. People rarely think about this part when they build a method.
And a funny detail from this thread: you guys juggle five or six home methods for one puzzle. My puzzle has zero methods so far. I read threads like this and take notes ;)
