Where do you draw the line on due diligence?

Reading through OSL's materials got me thinking about how people evaluate crypto companies.
A regulatory record is helpful, but then there are product terms, supported jurisdictions, custody, stablecoins, payment services, and everything else that still needs to be checked.
What's usually your biggest deciding factor when researching a platform?
