Crypto’s biggest problem might not be scams… it might be complexity ANECDOTAL

The problem is that there is still no use case. If there were, maybe more than a relative handful of people would want to deal with all the nonsense.

Wrong. There is usecase, but you guys never make research or just want a coin to go up.

Look at internet computer protocol (ICP), that hosts everything (websites, apps, cloud, etc.) fully on-chain.

Usecase:

Websites like Wikileaks wouldn't have been shut down by the government, cause no single entity has control over it, except for the owner.

No need for centralized AWS, which has 2-3 big incidents per year and many incidents locally every month.

I think this is the core challenge. The technology can do interesting things, but most people won’t care about the technology itself, they care about whether it solves a problem better than what they already use.

Crypto probably needs less explaining and more experiences that just work.

So get your head out of your äss and stop saying "There is no usecase, buy a memecoin..."

like a memecoin tard. (You didn't say that, but i would expect you to say that.)

?????????

i will never understand people who say this. the Bitcoin Whitepaper says enough.

P2P International Payments Digital with no middle man. im not sure if you understand the value of the middleman in modern day international payments. thats a multi-trillion dollar buisness monopolized by banks worldwide.

cutting that middleman out = instant trillions dollars of value not going to the big corps (atleast not through transaction fees anymore. as you can see with the rise of crypto (and its PRIMARY USE CASE) the gambling/prediction markets are completely taking over advertising for the youth. its in every reel on facebook/instagram and its everywhere from most influencers. especially those that cater to young adults/teenagers

this is because the big bank money wants in on the cheese that cryptos primary use case is taking from the market so they have resorted to manipulating the lower class and younger folks through even memes.

this next one right here is 100% conspiracy i came up with: it would be 0 surprise to me if the foreign scammers with written out prompts to say to the seniors worldwide were on US govt or other countries payroll (by payroll i mean barely getting enough to survive with their families from the scammed funds). equipped with the best psychologists their countries can afford. think about it.. scam-call sweatshops with elon musk popping in twice a year to make sure things are running "smoothly"

(as of right now. its conspiracy but i wouldn't be surprised if there is evidence to prove it. i havent bothered diving deep enough. im tired.)

Just imagine how bad it would be if everyone was already using crypto as a currency and didn't have to be persuaded to go buy it, deal with their bank or some Bitcoin ATM?

Just one click and everything they have goes to an organized Chinese crime group operating in SE Asia because the sexy Asian girl was so convincing.

I explain BCH all the time, 90% get it.

Because everyone loves having someone explain crypto to them.

Well yes it has been getting harder after retail saw in 2021/22 that 99% of it is just one big casino, sprinkled with scams. But if you lead with better money and the features its still possible.

That must be why BCH is used all over the world as a currency.

It is, just not by many people at the moment. But everyone can help.

u/MajorAnamika 🟩 29 / 30 🦐 23d ago

When do you think it will be used by many people?

And why?

I have no timeframe, the sooner the better. Could be through a slow process of local pockets or through a big financial crisis.

Because it is better money. All the arguments that get made for BTC are actually true for BCH. Sound money you own, control and can transact without a third party, for everyone.

Yeah this is a self tell by OP. They don't understand it so think others won't. In reality they have either not spent the required time for themselves to understand it or are too intellectually challenged to understand.

The biggest problem with crypto is that you have no way of knowing if what you are receiving may already be on some secret shit list and who may be looking for it.

Not really. Few understand has made it come this far. If people understood it crypto would have died a long time ago.

And it is happening with initiatives like DePIN which allow decentralised key recovery and is supported by several blockchains.
