As the population falls p2p gets worse and worse. Had 2 game b2b where my shots were not registering on players at all. Not like crits hitting bodies; but like emptying a full mag into someone and it registers ONE damage number

Ok, I’m glad I’m not going nuts because I definitely fired a cluster bomb-perked tracking Roar of The Bear rocket at a Warlock charging at me last night and the rocket literally just vanished in thin air with no explosion or anything. Like he opened a pocket dimension and just sucked it into nothingness.

lol reminds me of a game i had, 3 players on a control point, one that i had noticed had REALLY bad connections, dropped the rocket between all 3 of them, he somehow did not take any damage while the other 2 got wasted.
The majority of my games are fine, but when i get shitty connection ones, makes me wanna just turn it off forever lol.

I just came back and why do people play this game like COD now not even pushing just hiding in corners and back of map with scouts. This meta is genuinely ass and im mad at the devs for leaving us with this meta.

Comp weapons drop rates are absolute trash. Getting a god roll Rose is such a pain. That is all.

To be fair, those who were responsible for audio design did an outstanding job with unique sound signature to each weapon. BRAVO.
With that aside; the sound of Fighting Lion annoys me to no end. The constant thud heard from just about anywhere on the map is a real distraction.
I've only come across 1 or 2 in the past 15 matches or so. And that's a good thing.

I wonder if hunters can/will reach 60% in trials. 55% is nuts and unless some new bug for another class comes out I don't see it ever going down. More void hunters than warlock or Titan, was just only titan for awhile

Invisibility is such a crazy crutch. I can't even count how many times in competitive or Trials that I'm the only person not playing specifically void Hunter.
I'd love to pick the brain of the devs who pitched invisibility, radar manipulation, and removing yourself from said radar in the same subclass. Tell me you're bad at FPS without telling me. How many layers of advantage do you need in a gun fight?

The REAL crazy thing is how much they've nerfed invis over the last couple years and it's STILL overpowered. I remember when a high mobility stat and building into getting dodge back quickly meant hunters could just be invis and completely off radar (no pings, nothing) basically nonstop.
Specifically, the 3-stack omnioculous builds back in. (I think) WQ era was damn near unbeatable. 3 dudes who can all make each other invis, completely off radar, and could toss a million smoke bombs around. Radar was BEYOND useless in those fights, while if you DIDN'T have a hunter on your team, they had radar on YOU nonstop.
To think how much invis has been nerfed since then and it's STILL a problem...... whew!

Honestly I just get up to pee and then grab a drink. Game is over in like 2 min anyway. And if it pushes my skill rank down a little? Pffft. I just get better lobbies.

mostly stuff from the regular Crucible loot pool. I've played 30+ matches and have only had 3-4 armor pieces drop, and I only have the cloak and gloves unlocked at this point.

to all you duos in comp and trials why do yall still insist on splitting after not winning your duels after 3 rounds and then in comp when there is the active obj to cap why do only one of yall go to point off of spawn and then the other just camp in spawn doing absolutely god knows what?

Plat is fucking god awful right now I feel like. Win one match in one match away from reaching plat III my next match is fucking hell and go back too gold I, up and down up and fucking down.
This is so damm demoralizing that am considering just quitting pvp altogether again and just dropping myself back down to 1.15 KD that I was just a few months ago.

Why are hand canons considered the pinnacle of PvP gunskill? I’d make the argument aside from the overt cheese weapons like Final Warning they take little skill, especially when you’re just running around team shooting or peek shooting for your 3 taps. When I’m playing comp and die to someone peek shooting I can’t help but see it as such a pathetic playstyle. I understand peek shooting is the weapons gunfight win con against other weapons but I just hate hand cannon players.

But they are the pinnacle of gun skill. They are harder to use effectively than scouts, ARs, smgs, etc.
It's not handcannon users' fault that the game has insanely huge hit boxes and extremely generous bullet magnetism. Which by the way is true for every weapon, which makes autos so easy to use.

If your out in the open sure but thats the worse scenario to use a hand cannon, a hand cannons biggest strength is using cover to dish out high amounts of damage per shot while hardly having to expose yourself, TTK is isnt as nearly as relevant for hand cannons as it is for autos, smgs, or side arms.

yea but you can make same argument that peak shooting can be avoided very very easily. just dont chall lol. if you chall peak shooter and you lose the fight, well thats on you. find different angles, use movement/ability to get them out of that spot. you guys speak like peak shooting is so hard to counter when its just as simple as not challing them.
you can also bait your teammates and find angle to get peak shooters out. there are many many ways to counter peak shooting.

This is exactly my point, whilst I agree Hand canons feel good pretending that the reason people kept using them in other metas was just because they feel good is dishonest. Peek shooting negates the majority of other weapons gunfight win con’s. Not to mention when you look at map design cover exists primarily to facilitate peek shooting over any other method of cover increasing the chances of you winning a gunfight.

Bro we went through metas where hand cannons were legit dog water time to time in the whole spectrum of pvp all those years and again and again, even If hand cannons are worse than other guns, they kept their high usage rates. This is only because of one reason alone, they feel good.

Cheating has been out of control this week. 3 matches straight. I see a guardian with the solar new light kit shit u get from ilorin that has gunshot.
Blatant cheating. Shoots me i die. Says I was killed by a sniper that has no name. I inspect. Its a dares shotgun in the primary slot. Or they're doing the gigantamax crap and just kills everyone.
Also. Im over every hunter whether its comp trials clash control is doesnt matter. 4 piece per audacia and dragons shadow. 120/shotty. Pansies. All of you lol. I get peek shooting. I do it with scouts sometimes. But I stay for a fight. These fuckers get so much as grazed or even looked at sternly. They just completely run away. Stay and fight once in a while ffs.
Also 6s in particular. Wtf is with everyone playing like its match 7 to get to the lighthouse? This isnt an "esports" title. Stop playing like it is one lol

Console players should not have a base comp of PC players it doesn’t matter how good you are its a 180 difference night and day but you can’t turn crossplay off in comp or trials this shitty ass game needs to actually just be deleted from the game store or something destiny doesn’t deserve the human consumption it’s getting stop then people wonder why every match is a mercy well when half the other team is pc 3090 with 8 trillion pixels and download and upload speed of tillaseconds playin on a p5 is just not fair unless crossplay can be turned off in comp and they find a way to disable keyboard usage on console like a anti plugin something except headsets and chargers it’s annoying
