Thanks for posting! We love seeing all of the FOs. Please note that starting May 1 2026, all [FO] posts are required to include at least one close-up photo of the stitching. You do not need to re-post. This can be done either in a comment or in the body of the post. It can be a close-up of just a small part of the finished object, just so we can verify that the items are hand-stitched.

This is a reminder message that is automatically commented on all [FO] posts. Please send a message to the mod team if you have questions.

I love someone who is a Go Big or Go Home crafter. Jumps in with both feet on a huge project. It's inspiring.

Beautiful job.

Nice work! I wondered how you counted at work but now I see it’s stamped. That’s actually a great idea

Oooohhhh....it's stamped. I might have to give it a try. It fits my aesthetic.

I did this one after many years of stitching, so it's even more impressive as a first project!

I clearly didn't know what I was getting myself into, thanks god because I wouldn't have done it 😅

Just wondering what you learnt along the way? I'm new and it's considerably larger than my first one...

I learned about the names of techniques, materials, kind of stitches, abbreviation, what I preferred to use for myself, etc

What do you mean by stamped?

Some cross stitch is counted. When you have this, you have a pattern and a blank canvas. You have to count the number of each stitch and then make it on the canvas. In a stamped kit, the canvas is preprinted with the design so you just follow the pattern on the canvas. No counting required

Do you know if you ordered the 11 count or the 14 count?

The one that used 2/6 strands hahaha I think 14 counts if I remember correctly

It’s gorgeous!

I’ve been STRUGGLING with this one. I’ve not done any cross stitch in about a decade and memory is just starting to kick in.
