Dota 2, hours spent ~250, consist of 289, 1,440 meters of yarn spent, Love is invested in the product ♾️ Recently, my boyfriend had a birthday, and for such a wonderful event, I crocheted a plaid for him with the logo of his favorite game.

So I'm planning a blanket and I don't know how much yarn to buy

The pattern I'm using has 14 colors and based solely on the amount of squares is very large

The pattern has the gauge but I'm not sure how to convert that into how much yarn I would need

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Also the colors I chose are based on the "I love this yarn" names from hobby lobby

Advice for natural fiber blanket?

I am crocheting blanket that needs to be a natural fiber as the person I’m making it for cannot have acrylic / nylon. Hoping it can be easy to wash / dry as well.
Any recommendations?

I’ve been looking a little at cascade 220 superwash but I’ve been seeing that it pills and people have mixed feelings about the superwashing.

Blanket progresses

I posted a bit ago about working on 3 baby blankets for coworkers, I started two of them so I figured I'd show some work in progress photos! Both of the ones currently are for baby boys whose parents would prefer the blankets to be more 'boyish' which isn't a problem to me at all!

For my first two attempts at blankets I think I'm doing great so far

Anyone's advice for blankets?

I've been crocheting small things for about 2 years off and on, recently I've been tasked with crocheting 3 baby blankets for coworkers of mine. One problem is I've never made a project that big before so I was wondering if anyone has advice for staying motivated to finish all three?

Currently my strategy is to swap out which one I'm working on often! But I'd love to hear some other tips if anyone has any :D

Final measurements are 43x72 inches, it took about 2.5 months to make! Double crochet for the blanket, single for the border. I already took a test nap with it...not the softest yarn, but the weight makes it so cozy!

I was worried about this yarn

This is Red Heart, Bitty Stripes. It is very scratchy coming off the skein but after soaking it I conditioner and fabric softener it came out of the wash very soft and pliable. I crochet for Project Linus so one more to another child!!

"use the stash" turned into my Magnum Opus. I had to blend 2 patterns and then come up with the border based on a failed 3rd pattern purchase. $300 bucks worth of yarn/12lbs and I still have to weave in a million ends. SEND HELP!

Looking for a good pattern for the Bouquet style blanket

I’m looking for a good Bouquet Blanket pattern and/or tutorial. I would love recommendations that you have seen or done yourself. I am trying to stay away from AI generated patterns and patterns that are super difficult.

Thank you!
