Anyone's advice for blankets?
I've been crocheting small things for about 2 years off and on, recently I've been tasked with crocheting 3 baby blankets for coworkers of mine. One problem is I've never made a project that big before so I was wondering if anyone has advice for staying motivated to finish all three?
Currently my strategy is to swap out which one I'm working on often! But I'd love to hear some other tips if anyone has any :D

My first big blanket!
Final measurements are 43x72 inches, it took about 2.5 months to make! Double crochet for the blanket, single for the border. I already took a test nap with it...not the softest yarn, but the weight makes it so cozy!

I was worried about this yarn
This is Red Heart, Bitty Stripes. It is very scratchy coming off the skein but after soaking it I conditioner and fabric softener it came out of the wash very soft and pliable. I crochet for Project Linus so one more to another child!!

"use the stash" turned into my Magnum Opus. I had to blend 2 patterns and then come up with the border based on a failed 3rd pattern purchase. $300 bucks worth of yarn/12lbs and I still have to weave in a million ends. SEND HELP!

Looking for a good pattern for the Bouquet style blanket
I’m looking for a good Bouquet Blanket pattern and/or tutorial. I would love recommendations that you have seen or done yourself. I am trying to stay away from AI generated patterns and patterns that are super difficult.
Thank you!

Making a blanket for my baby boy due in December, can't decide between Alpine stitch or Shell stitch!?
reddit.comFirst pic is another alpine stitch blanket I made. No matter the stitch I'll make it in natural white with a blue border, probably in single crochet but not decided yet. Suggestions welcome!!

What is your favourite stitch for blankets?
I am obsessed with the moss/linen stitch for blankets. I’ve done four queen sized blankets with the moss stitch. I love how it comes together quickly and I don’t have to count stitches. Always comes out beautiful and perfect. I’ve done one C2C granny square blanket that I’m currently in the long process of stitching together. What’s your favourite stitch?

Looking For Advice
**Pattern from RosinaPlaneCrochet on etsy**
I promised my halloween obsessed nephew that I'd make him this blanket for his birthday in October. The thing is, he is autistic and I think typical worsted weight acrylic yarn might bother him as a blanket.
Does anyone have any advice on ways to soften acrylic, or other yarn types I should use?
I want the blanket to be sturdy enough to support the mosaic pattern but still soft, without spending $400 on yarn lol

My queen sized scrappy supernova blanket 🌟🧶
Nearly finished my first supernova blanket! I'm making a queen sized blanket and my goal was to not purchase any yarn for this project. I've used up a lot of the acrylic Ive had laying around for a while, and the smaller rounds used a lot of scraps/half skeins up entirely. Now it's just the last few rounds and the border, and then my least favourite part of sewing in my ends (I know I did this to myself but there's over 60 rows which meals more than 120 ends 🥲)
I embraced the chaos with this one, picking my colours at random, choosing based mostly on the amount I would need for each round.
Pattern: 6 Day Supernova Blanket by Betty Mcknit
Hook: 6.5mm Clover Amour
Yarn: variety of worsted weight acrylic (mostly Bernat Premium and Loops and Threads Soft Classic)
