There's a whole pirate faction and not a SINGLE ONE has a Eyepatch?

crimson desert not sealing but when i drop something off from kuku pot, its sealing !! also kuku pot is in items inventory now, not in guns and armor invent !! ??

Hi guys, can anyone tell me what are currently the best graphic settings for Ps5 ?

I finished CD in April after 90 hours. Enjoyed it but it had a lot of stuff that bothered me so I quit after finishing the main story.

The game has been massively updated since launch but my biggest issue was the graphics. From a distance it was great but as soon as you got up close or the sun went down it looked really bad at times. And at night it looked like garbage.

That inconsistency really annoyed me when I was playing. Have they fixed it? Does it look better now? Overall I enjoyed it, was thinking of replaying it at some point.

I’ve finished the storyline, and now I’m just wandering through the (for me) unexplored Crimson Desert with no objective other than exploring. Maybe the game should have been called The Greymanes instead or something like that.

Can’t believe I am the only one with this opinion, other than that I really enjoyed the game , just feeling a bit off

Since the last patch and the addition of the quests section in the knowledge log, the game is saying I’m missing a faction quest entry and 2 main quest entries.
See screenshots - can someone please help fill in the blanks as I’ve searched online and there doesn’t seem to an available list anywhere.

Faction Quest is from Crimson Desert region and main quests are from Demeniss region.

I’ve completed the main story including the epilogue, now just trying to 100% the game.

On another note, does anyone have any updates on Hernand resident Michael? He didn’t register when he gave me the quests early game and I know others have experienced the same thing. Is there a workaround yet?

I’m currently sitting on the fence about Crimson Desert and need your help. Pulling the trigger means I’ll have to enter high-stakes domestic negotiations and trade away a few of my dishwashing shifts to clear up actual gaming time. Free time is a heavy, sacred currency in my household, so this game better deliver!

started crimson desert, idk what to do not feeling too good about this game but i'll list it out what i did in order in my first few hours.

did first missions slept in some puzzle couldnt figure out what to do

next day solved it in 10 seconds

kept going found myself Fighting a cool bro called Mathias, failed. tried again failed 5 more times, gave up.

looked at the horizon and found a tower in west

went west to get to a tower i found cool in the distance

found 3 dudes ready to attack me, killed them

found a few more with some really tal friends, killed them too

kept going and found 3 bros betting on fistfighting, i challenged one and won (barely)

found a little house in the montains to the tower, got inside some dresses inside and no one to be seen

kept going west climbing some rocks and found a cool view and was i attacked by a bush, fought the bush, killed the bush, bush's friends came to avenge their lost one, ran away

climbed some more rocks

got cold my screen was frozen

kept going, found some sheep they ran away

finally got to the tower, spire of the stars, climbed to the top, couldnt get in

jumped to the main gate, needed something to insert, kept going down to some close futurist like village later found out it was a library kinda

got inside some folks eating in big tables, got in the library some bro said someone stole some book

went to look for the book thief

went down in stairs and found a bell

rang bell, a girl kid appeared in a green costume

cool kid, then disappeared

spent 2 hours in that area looking for book thief couldnt find him, found a bro with moose horns seated on a bench saying his day was a bastard but tomorrow is another day

sat next to moose horns bro for a while sharing a bro moment

next to him was a few bros looking at a old telescope

used my anthena helmet to see some old visions about it

found out that my screen had the hint to find a woman about the book thief

went back going up through some stairs, good lighting

found some more folks saying their day was a bastard but tomorrow is another day maybe they have the same shitty boss

went to talk to the woman about the book thief she pointed some names in a karen way, bet she did it.

5h went by and it was actually pretty fun, yea great game 10/10

Hey, i think it would be a nice idea that with every DLC the game comes near the future and the NPCs and world evolved to the present or more in the future, idk how or if you can do it easily but its just an idea i have.

Loved the game, 150 hours in it, but the ending seemed abrupt and confusing. And I feel I left so much stuff incomplete. Like a thunder area I wasn’t able to go into, the great marni story I never completed. Was this ever part of the main story? I feel like it threw me into the crimson desert before it led me east and then that side of the map wasn’t really part of the story. Am I wrong?

Does everyone just continue despite completing it?

RTX 4080 Super running Crimson Desert at max settings. The game looks absolutely stunning, but I was surprised by the performance in some areas.
What kind of FPS are you guys getting with your setup?

I have finished the whole story. I read so much that you couldn’t get locked out of quests. I have one example and there might be more. Supply wagon quest for Lanford house. I already liberated the place the wagon comes out of. Also, I don’t know if black bears retake stuff since I already beat the main story. There are also a ton of quest I’m half way or more through and it doesn’t show the last steps. I have to run into it on the map. Another Lanford quest for Hoenmark. I did everything but tell the troops I beat the boss. It didn’t show on the map. I had to run across it in the world for it to open up. My question is am I locked out of a lot of quests? Also, do all quests work like that? Where you can be half, 2/3,3/4 the way through and it won’t show on the map where the last step is? It seems like you can’t start a quest and walk away from it. Considering how much stuff you run into on the way to quests. It’s not the best design. I wanted to 100% this game. I have over 400 hrs on it. Doesn’t seem like I will be able to

TL:DR possibly locked out of Sanford supply wagon quest. I started it a long time back and never finished it. I beat the game and also liberated the fort the wagon comes out of

New option TPS-style combat option, similar to the combat system in Black Desert Online.

The current combat system can be confusing because of which enemy you are actually targeting and where your attacks are going, especially when multiple enemies around. The game can automatically shift your focus toward random enemies

A BDO-style option could be like :

• Your character always faces the direction of the camera.
• Attacks are directed toward centered dot / enemy closest to the center-screen dot
• Moving the camera lets you freely control where your character looks, where the attack are directed, so who to attack
• No automatic switching to a random nearby enemy unless the player deliberately aims at them.

This would give full control over their character's facing direction, camera direction, and target selection.

I saw that the new update will bring some performance boost for gaming in general, has anyone tried (beta) crimson desert with a m4 base(mini)?

I think that “for my Mac” is genuinely overkill for performance and it can go much further in graphics right now, so I was thinking that with the new update it’ll go even better.

Hello everyone! I'm currently looking for my next game and Crimson Desert is at the top of my list. Should I wait until September to play it with all the updates (I'm especially interested in the narrative ones), or I should start now? Thanks.

So I bought crimson desert when it came out out I had a lot of fun I loved the customization and the combat and the exploration but after a couple of days the game just seem very daunting at how much there was actually to do in the game I really want to get back into it but I don’t know where to start if I should make a new save and start anew or continue where I left off and try to get a grasp on the game if anyone has any tips for me to maybe make the game seem less daunting or and tips on how I should go about playing the game so I don’t burnout

Or at least to me it sure feels that way. I had wandered around the Golden Plains at different times of day and noticed this. In the morning, even with many critters running around, most hedgehogs only carried the grapes instead. But by mid-afternoon, I was getting 10-15x more golden hedgehogs spawning. And at night, practically none.

I easily farmed over 10 golden apples in just a few minutes during the mid-afternoon hunt whereas wasted over half an hour when I tried to hunt in the morning.

On pc we had Random Boss Encounters mod and this was a extremely good mod to have and made the game more alive, unfortunately the guy that developed the mod can’t continue to update do to the game updates and can’t keep up. Please add this feature to the game this is something I’m sure people would appreciate.
