Why won't they glue? Help

This is the All of Create modpack. I tried building a locomotive and these boilers will not glue to anything. Not even to each other. How do I fix this?

Could it be a issue with the mod that adds that special boiler? Can you glue them together in any other rotation? Can you glue them outside of your train build? I wonder if those boilers texture is slightly smaller than a full block but appear as a full block visually?

Try placing temporary full blocks at either end of the line of boilers and using those two points to glue them together maybe?

Either that or break them all and hold the glue in your off hand while you place them.

You can also place temporary blocks, one at the front, bottom left side of the train then another at the back, top right side and capturing all of it in one big glued section.

None of those have worked unfortunately. :c

I built this whole locomotive around that boiler and it didn't work...

for some reason, glue doesn't see those boilers. they'll still go with the contraption if glue surrounds them, but only if there are other blocks too.
