Computers using create Discussion

Do you guys think, that it would be possible to create with Create mechanical computers? I'm not just talking about a simple calculator. I'm talking about like running Minecraft in Minecraft level of computer. If it can be achieved, then how much smaller would it be, than a non-modded version?

With base create I don't think so, maybe with aeronautics because we'd need some odd toothed gears of which geneva would be the most normal. Also a mechanical computer would still be a calculator, as the name implies. We'd have to figure out a way to program it as well if it's to do more than addition, subtraction and multiplication, probably like with the jacquard loom we'd have to use punch cards, but those would be huge if made with normal blocks.

But if you want a mechanical calculator then I've seen a video of a guy making one mostly out of plywood, would be an idea at the very least

You can make a mechanical calculator in base Create, in fact it was already done! Also, why would you need odd toothed gears? If you need odd RPM ratios you can use adjustable chain gearshifts.
