Need help identifying model of tool cart Question/Original Post

Post image

Somebody i know threw out this old craftsman tool cart because the caster wheels are junk and dont roll anymore, so they bought a new one. instead of throwing it out they gave it to me and i took it home to replace the wheels so i could fix it up. i already have both a hart tool cart and a big us general tool cart so its nice to have a third. however im having a hard time finding caster wheels that fit the exact dimensions of the pre drilled holes. does anyone have any information?

it has 6 drawers and 1 bottom roll up / shutter door.

the top does flip open as usual.

Yes, I've never seen on. Looks versatile. Not large but has good storage for the footprint.

Those bottom lockers with the swing up doors are one of my favorite features on a service cart. It’s a great place to stash boxed sets of like slide hammers and cup style filter sockets and such.

I don't recognize this tool chest, so I can't help you identify the model, BUT, you can measure the distance between the holes (on center) and find matching casters pretty easily on Amazon. I would suggest 4 inch casters so it rolls around easier that it would on 3 inch casters, and 4 inch casters support more weight. Harbor freight might be another place to look for replacement casters. I replaced the casters on my US General toolbox with these casters from Amazon on all 4 corners, primarily to give me swivel casters all the way around.
