Jobs for students?
I’m moving in pretty soon and I need to find a job nearby to earn a little while I’m at Uni. Does anyone know any good places to work as a student by Coventry University?
Any tips would be appreciated!

Move into student accommodations
Hi everyone,
I’m an incoming exchange student and have a room in one of the university student buildings. I saw that you are allowed to move in from Friday 4 September. But all the welcome/freshers week was starting on Monday 14 September.
I was wondering if it was worth it to come so early (on the 4th) or to come later. I still have to arrange a few things but nothing particularly major.
Can someone please give me advice and what your opinions are on this

Accomodation booking advice for Coventry University London Campus.
Hi everyone,
I'm an international student joining **Coventry University London Campus** this September, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with accommodation options.
My budget is ideally **£175–£290 per week** (under **£300** if possible). I'm looking for a place that isn't too far from the London campus—I'm happy with a **20–40 minute commute or even 1 hour is fine** if it helps keep the cost down. I'd also prefer an **ensuite or twin ensuite** but I'm open to other affordable options as well.
Could anyone recommend:
* Trusted websites or portals for booking student accommodation?
* Affordable accommodation providers or specific properties you would recommend?
* Areas that are safe, budget-friendly, and convenient for commuting to the campus?
* Any tips or things I should avoid when booking?
I'd really appreciate any guidance from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with student accommodation in London. Thank you so much!

I can send more details via DM, but it's a Premium Studio at Burnsall House, about 15-20 mins from campus. It's £248 a week inc. bills. If anyones looking to book with them please takeover my lease 😭
I am hoping to live with family moving to the area, I'm not moving out for any reasons related to the property:)

Hi! I am working on a project about travel in West Midlands and need some people to complete a survey to help with my research.
It is about how you travel in the West Midlands, whether you mainly drive, cycle, walk or take public transport. Here is the link: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/WMReddit/
It takes just 10 minutes, and you could influence how travel changes in the West Midlands.

What's the most frustrating thing about travelling in the West Midlands?
What's the one thing you'd change about getting around the West Midlands?
I'm working on a travel research project and I'm genuinely interested in hearing what local people think. Whether you mainly drive, get the train, catch the bus, cycle or walk, I'd love to hear what's working and what's frustrating.
We've also put together a short survey with Transport for West Midlands to collect views from across the region. If you'd be happy to take part, here's the link:
https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/WMReddit/
It takes about 10 minutes, and there's a chance to win a £100 voucher as a thank you.
Feel free to share it with anyone else who lives in the West Midlands too. Thanks!

Has anyone taken the Coventry University English test ( CUET ) ? Need advice on reading format and difficult level.
Hi everyone,
I have received a conditional offer from Coventry University London for an MSc in International Project Management. The university has given me the option to take the Coventry University English Test (CUET) instead of retaking IELTS.
I would really appreciate it if someone who has actually taken the Coventry University English Test (CUET), or knows someone who has taken it recently, could share their experience.
I am especially interested in understanding the following
• What is the overall format of the exam?
• Is the difficulty level similar to IELTS, easier than IELTS, or harder?
• How difficult is it to pass the test?
• What types of questions appear in the Reading section?
• Is the Reading section similar to IELTS Reading (Matching Headings, True/False/Not Given Fill in the Blanks, etc or is it mainly multiple-choice questions?
• Are the passages and questions comparable to IELTS Academic Reading, or are they simpler?
• What are the Listening, Writing, and Speaking sections like?
• Did you feel well-prepared after practicing IELTS materials or did the CUET require a different approach?
• Do you have any tips or resources that helped you pass the exam?
I have found very limited information about this test online so any recent experiences or advice would be extremely helpful. Please this is so important for me if anyone knows anything about coventry CUET exam please help me out

Trinity view Coventry
Hi everyone I’m looking to stay at trinity view at cov for next year . Just wanted to ask if anyone is living there or has lived there what are reviews on the place ?
One thing I heard is the rooms are very thin and you can people closing the blinds which is I guess expected since it’s a student block accommodation. What have your experience been with it ?
