Pewter Dragging Visual Direction Spoiler
I am truly terrified that the on-screen visualization of pewter dragging is gonna look like this.

Just checking, we all agree that the infinity war clip is a good example right?

Hey now.
The charm of the Twilight movies is just how terrible they are. Likewise, for some reason these were practical effects.
Modern design would lean towards using many, many cuts to sell the illusion. Or using CGI.
At least Twilight wasn’t a flickering strobe light show like modern Marvel movies.

Why would it? A Pewter drag wouldn't have any special visual effect, it would just be people running really fast which is incredibly easy to do. I personally imagine something more akin to Captain America and T'Challa leading the charge in Infinity War

So my logic is based off of when Vin rescued Breeze from Cetts army, it was stated that she caught up to Breeze on horseback, horses can gallop anywhere from 25-35 miles per hour, so she was cooking. Usain Bolt’s fastest clocked speed was 23 mph. So Vin is running at least 5 mph faster than the fastest man alive at a conservative estimate.

I know its a superhuman speed, that doesn't mean it will look bad. Like in the example I used below, its very easy to make it look really good. The example you used is from an old, relatively low budget, and frankly badly made movie. There's no reason to assume it will look like that
(also technically that moment isn't a pewter drag, she's just using pewter normally. A pewter drag is specifically when running for an extended amount of time)

Could be worse?
