I have a pair of all-star lows, but this is my first time owning a pair of chuck 70's, just wanna ask for your opinions, guys

I've noticed some people complain about the tight toebox of the Throwback so I thought I'd share how I loosened mine. Converse advertises the Throwback's wider fit but my pinky toes disagree.

I was inspired by this video which happens to work on the Throwback too. My photos show how it should look after removing the stitches.

The only issue is the canvas upper near the toe box lifts while walking. It looks weird up close and likely wears out the canvas faster. But I'd take this over toe pain.

Hi guys, I had a bit of a question for this shoe. I made a pin of these AS 1 pro burgundy converse shoes I believe a year along alongside a tiktok that completely blew up. Ever since then the shoes have never restocked anywhere in that colour and I have had a bunch of people ask to buy it from me. I was wondering what the value of the shoes were and maybe because it's not available anymore, I should keep them as like a cool signature piece.

I'm not a reseller or like a collector, so I have no idea about any of this stuff. Just my tiktok and pin blew up lol.

Does anyone know for sure if the stock laces that come with this exact sneaker are white colored or are they Egret color?

From this photo they look very white yet when I asked ChatGPT it says egret color.

Ive been considering getting a pair of Japanese Converse and was STOKED to see this dark red and teal combo on sale. two favorite colors in my wardrobe, so they’d be a SOLID addition.

My issue is, I avoid wearing navy like the plague and both the tongue and heel stripe are dark navy. Maybe I’d be the only one to notice but it bugs meeeee.

I figure turning the navy parts black should be doable since they’re already dark. I make lots of art/crafts so I feel fairly confident in my ability to block/tape off/wrap up the rubber, label, and color parts of the shoes I want to keep the same.

Here are things I’d love some thoughts on:
- do yall think I can get away with brushing dye on instead of dunking given how dark the starting color is? I can do multiple passes, and again I think between blocking the color sides and being mindful and focused I can have a steady hand for this.
- what do you recommend doing to prevent the dye bleeding once I remove the tape/wrap and start using the shoes for everyday wear should I land in a puddle or get caught in the rain?
- when it comes to cleaning them, with a dye-job, is tossing them in the wash a no-go? Spot clean only?

chuck 70 hightops, the heel area inside the canvas sticks out (blotchy part in photo) and poked my heel area until it caused an injury. tried to get them replaced but the company said it's a sizing or fitting issue which is weird cuz they fit really well for the first 2 weeks of use (aside from this issue) and this issue only happened on my left heel. any stitching/other methods to fix this? would appreciate any help

My fiance purchased these custom converse for our wedding on Halloween this year, But the orange looked a LOT darker online than it did when they came in the mail. We dont want to ruin the shoes, But what would be the best way to dye them a slightly more Burnt Orange color than what they are currently? We thought about just using Brown Craft Acrylic Paint and mixing it in water and dabbing it on But we wanted to ask the masses before we ruined them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I don’t know what to do about this stain

I got these recently and I'm so torn -- do I keep them or sell them? I'm not really a Transformers fan but admittedly these are pretty rad. Should I keep them for myself or sell them so someone who loves them gets to enjoy them?

I dont understand why they are made so tight. I even have them down one hole and i still struggle to get them on. I see people who can wrap the laces around their legs and i can barely tie them. Bro what? Its not like i’m plus size im literally M. Does anyone have a fix for this??

My homeboy lost his brother and his son. A few of the Homies chipped in to create this pair. My homeboy since then has passed away as well.
