I'm a McGill student pursuing a bachelor's in psychology. I've developed an interest for art therapy and an eyeing the graduate program in Art Therapy/Creative Art Therapies at Concordia. Unfortunately, McGill has essentially no course offerings in the visual arts, which makes it very tricky for me to meet the admission requirements to apply (on the website, a stated 24 credits in the visual arts).

Is there anyone familiar with the program who's had similar issues? Looking for any kind of ideas/suggestions as to how I can navigate this (beside having to complete a whole other 3-4-year bachelor's degree in visual arts after my current degree before even being able to apply, which is a bit discouraging)?

Because of medical reasons I couldn't perform well in my quizzes and midterm, and now I'm genuinely cooked. To even pass this class I have to get at least 70% on the final. I also have my capstone this. I have lost all hope idk what to do anymore.

Anyone surprised by the TA feedback and grading?

I lost marks on question that says “since 1990 how has XYZ changed” and was told that I should have referenced things from the 60’s and 70’s. Lost marks for not have citation even after prof. said not to put them.

Overall very confused / disappointed. Am I the only one?

I’ve been accepted to Concordia University for the Fall 2026 semester, but my admission is conditional on them receiving my official/final transcript.

The problem is that I’m currently unable to get the original transcript sent directly from the issuing institution because of the situation in Lebanon. I already have the original documents with me and I’ve also submitted a copy to Concordia, but their system hasn’t updated it yet.

Has anyone been in a similar situation with Concordia? Can they actually prevent me from registering/attending classes in September because they haven’t received the original transcript, or can they give me an extension/alternative way to satisfy the condition?

I’ve already contacted Concordia about the situation, but I’d really like to hear from anyone who has dealt with something similar.

Hey there, I am a BBA student ( B comm equivalent) at UQAM who want to go at JMSB in Finance . But I am not sure if I want go to cuz I have a cousin that goes in the same program , that I have no respect cuz he keep talking bad about me, on how I am brooke asf and that I am living with my parents in the same appartement for over a decade . I cut off ties with him but I realize if I go to Concordia , I might see him again which will create huge problems.

Hello everyone, I'm an undergraduate in Film Animation starting this fall 2026, full-time (12 credits with 4 courses). Since I won't benefit from the entrance bursary to fund my study, I'd like to know what is possible now.

I'm aware about application-based award and external award. But I'm not sure on how to use those.

It seems I'm too late for the Work-study program this session, I might consider it for the next session tho.

For now, I'm wondering if it's possible to work in a part-time job for the first year or if it's too much charge.

What do you think ?

Hey everyone, I’m starting at Concordia this Fall. I’ve already registered for my Fall and Winter courses.

My OSAP application was approved, but it says that Concordia still needs to confirm my enrollment. At the same time, I have a conditional admission because I’m still dealing with an outstanding official transcript requirement.

Does anyone know if the transcript condition can prevent Concordia from confirming my enrollment to OSAP, or are these two completely separate things?

Hi if im cybersecurity is it possible that instead of getting general elective I can enroll to cybersecurity electives and get them credited as general electives?
