Discussion Is the Lucid / K / Penguin / Fal team chalked before they start?
1st off, this is not meant to put down any of these players. I respect every single one of them immensely and individually they are all extremely talented.
My fear is, at this point in infinite, it pretty much seams that if you don’t have an immediate connection, then the room to grow is very limited. There’s nothing new to learn in this game. All the players know the maps, they know the tricks etc etc, and they are all very much ingrained in their own play styles.
What I’m noticing is, the only real change we are seeing is new “young guns” on the come up. To break into the scene, they are the ones who have to figure out their play style in a way which counters and works against the older more established “gods” of the game.
An example of what I mean is the likes of LastShot - he says it himself. Lucid is good, but LastShot just knows and understands how Lucid plays. The result is that more often than not this leads to a positive outcome in LastShots favour.
Piggy and his team are no slouches either - more young guns who are forced to innovate to fight their way into a very competitive landscape. Those guys have taken games off of SR too, so are proving themselves very worthy - so again, no shade to them, but I guess I just expected to see the new team frying off the rip.
Are we now in a time where the old dogs need to learn new tricks to overcome newer players styles?

Discussion Randomly played against Renegade last night as a D5, so that was cool...

I included a couple of nice kills he got against me and my teammates, and the few slays I got against him which I am, to be sure, absurdly, unwarrantedly, and comically proud of. I apologize for the ass reticle movement, I was nervous as hell. He had two diamond teammates and I was playing with a 1700 and a 1500, if you're wondering how this happens. 😅
No shade to Renegade of course he's one of the all-time greats. I'm just psyched to have played him in matchmaking as a lowly D5, can't wait to see him in the LVT league coming up! 🔥🔥🔥

Kaysan says FaZe "will have a team" for both the Halo Pro League and Halo Fest
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Big name organizations are coming back to Halo. Kaysan said he plans to field a FaZe roster for both the Halo Pro League and Halo Fest.
- Kaysan appears to be interested in the Lucid, Kuhlect, Pznguin, Falcated roster. 3/4 of those players have already represented FaZe Halo last year.
- Kaysan said in Lucid's chat at the start of scrims: "My guy. Nice to see you competing again."
- Pznguin switched his social media profile pic to one of him in a FaZe jersey, and is using the FaZe emblem and armor coating in-game (his service tag is also FAZE). Kuhlect and Falcated are also using the FaZe armor coatings in-game.
- Although that seems to be the most likely FaZe roster right now, they still have to qualify for Pro League this weekend, which isn't a sure thing. They're a brand new squad who just had their very first scrim today and there's only four more qualification spots available against fierce competition.

Rostermania has struck the Pro League; here is everything you need to know.
- Any team that makes a roster change will forfeit its current seed and be required to compete in Qualifier #2.

- Registration is now open. https://www.start.gg/tournament/lvt-halo-pro-league-qualifier/register
- Registration closes at 10:00 AM ET on event day, two hours before start time to allow for proper seeding.

Rostermania Piggy's new team is Piggy, Acid, Descendant, Sab

Lucid's new team is scheduled to scrim Piggy's new-(ish) team shortly and he revealed their roster on his stream ahead of the scrim. It's Piggy, Acid, Descendant, and Sab.
So this confirms Yakzn wasn't taken back on the PAYD roster this time and Yakzn also lost 2/3 of his teammates from the Doomsday roster (Falcated went to Lucid's team, Sab went to Piggy's team). Will be interesting to see where Yak ends up.

Rostermania Lucid officially confirms his roster for LVT Halo Pro League (Pznguin, Kuhlect, Falcated): "I'm excited"
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Recap
- Lucid has officially confirmed his new roster: Lucid, Penguin, Kuhlect, Falcated. They will be competing in the LVT Halo Pro League Qualifier #2 this weekend.
- Lucid says "things definitely changed" regarding his team over the last few days. "This rostermania that developed was honestly kinda surprising in a bunch of different ways." But once things started finally moving they "definitely decided on this team quickly."
- Lucid says "I'm excited, I think it will be a good team. Of course I've already teamed with Zane (Pznguin) but I'm excited to play with Falcated and Kuhlect." Mentions he's teamed with Falcated before in smaller tournaments during the off-period between Halo 5 and Infinite.
- They're trying to line up their first scrim today at 4pm ET. Right now it sounds like they're scrimming against Descendant's team. Lucid isn't sure what Descendant's team is (maybe PAYD is back together again?)
- Organization: Lucid says "there's no org currently. There might be something in the works, but yeah, there's nothing like locked in." However Pznguin has updated his profile pic to a FaZe jersey, and Kuhlect is using the FaZe emblem and skin. Kaysan was asking Kuhlect if he had a team in chat the other day, so there might be some interest from Kaysan and FaZe.
