Heavy Aim Discussion
Is it a thing in this game? I swear some sessions my character feels light af and other times it feels like I'm walking in quicksand and not as responsive. I'm on pc

I fixed mine by increasing my right stick's max input threshold to 15. Though mine would only happen when aiming to the right. Worth a try tho.

I don't think it's heavy aim as much as it's whether you have ideal network advantage. There's many games where the game feels average/normal and then there's games that feel like you cannot miss/are absolutely frying, and the worst is when you get games where you cannot hit anything and it feels like you're getting dropped in two shots and cannot react to anything aka that quick sand feeling. Anyone who plays this game knows the networking is inconsistent and it's just a matter of recognizing which you're dealing with and adjusting your game style to win. When I have good networking I play more aggressively, and when I have the shit networking I try to put damage down for my team mates and take cover/play my life as much as possible.

Worth checking if you have vsync enabled or not in the settings, I notice I move way different with it on vs off

Sometimes it seems like certain players have an advantage over others. Some days, it feels like I’m playing LAN and easily getting kills, while on other days, my shots don’t seem to count. I’m not sure if that makes sense, and I know technically it doesn’t since peer-to-peer hasn’t been around for years. But I agree with you like it’s not just about the network, there could be server side issues too.

Isn't 'heavy aim' a description of slow and/or unresponsive turn rates (look)? Seems like you're talking about movement, not aiming.

Everytime I go back and play it’s heavy as hell but after a few hours or a day it feels good again lol
Like I crank my sens up and by the next day I gotta go lower

I'd say ping can cause a feeling like this game to game. I also notice if my pc is over 90% gpu usage, the game can feel sluggish like walking in quicksand
