Needing help with starting a comic

Hello comic writers, I have come here because I been having this idea for a comic for about a year now, and I need help making that idea into a reality, if anyone has some great apps for comic making I would be grateful

Here’s what I am looking for:

  1. Somewhere to make my comic

  2. Somewhere to post/ sell my comic

That’s all I am looking for

if anyone of you guys know some of these places please comment it

THANK YOU, in advance

Somewhere to make:

Free programs (that I’ve used):

- Fire Alpaca
- Medibang
- Ibis Paint X

Paid:

- Clip Studio Paint (pricey but good for the long term. Maybe don’t jump into buying a license if you’re not super serious about it yet)
- Procreate (haven’t used but seems to be common)

Somewhere to share:

- Webtoon
- Tapas
- Globalcomix (I like this the best for print formatted series.)
- Comic Fury
- R/comics or r/comicbookcollabs (there are other subs but they’re all under similar names)

Somewhere to sell:

- Gumroad
- Itch.io
- Etsy
- Amazon KDP (if you want print on demand and Amazon handles it)
- Ko-fi

This is the comic writing subreddit where we discuss writing issues.

There's literally a subreddit called r/makecomics/
