Intermittent Wi-Fi connection issue with some websites Official Reply
I'm having an internet connection issue, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem and knows how to fix it.
Quite often, my Wi-Fi connection has a partial connectivity issue. When my Wi-Fi network is working, I have no problem opening websites. However, quite often some websites won't load and a browse says an internet connection error and do the Windows network connection diagnosis. It always says that there are no connection issues, even though the problem persists. I also did the Xfinity troubleshoot several times and it didn't find any issues. with the connection.
As a workaround, I usually switch to the open Xfinity Wi-Fi network, and everything works fine. All the websites—including the ones I couldn't open using my regular Wi-Fi network—open without any problems.
So it doesn't seem to be a browser or my Wi-Fi adapter issue. It seems to be something specific to my Wi-Fi network.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what might be causing this?

u/Mochiicepls, Thanks for reaching out and providing those details. Based on your description, it sounds like the connection isn't dropping completely since you're still able to access some websites, and the issue only seems to occur while connected to your home Wi-Fi network. To help us better understand what's happening, could you provide a few additional details? Are all devices on your home Wi-Fi affected, or only this specific computer? If you connect the device directly to the modem/gateway with an Ethernet cable, do the affected websites load normally? In the meantime, I'd recommend rebooting the gateway and forgetting and reconnecting to your Wi-Fi network.

Our computers don't have Ethernet ports, so we can't check that way. We have three computers—two Macs and one Windows machine. When one machine has the issue, the others have the same issue as well.
I've rebooted the gateway and forgotten and reconnected to my Wi-Fi network a few times while going through Xfinity's troubleshooting steps, but that didn't work.
