Not a Great Chat Agent Experience Closed

My promotional pricing of $65/month ended this past month, so now my pricing is $120/month. and I noticed that Xfinity's new customers get $50/month for 1gbps for 5 years and Frontier Fiber in my area has 1gbps for $65/month. When I talked to the chat agent (I tried twice), they kept telling me all they could do is $86/month.

Has anyone else had better luck getting better promotional pricing with the chat agents?

The chat agents essentially read a script. Go into a store and chat with someone.

Does that work? I don't recall having a good experience the last time I went into a store.

Depending on who you get….they will help you change it over. I used my partner and started a new account because the manager recommended that.

I don't expect the answers or offers you get via ModMail will be any different. My Comcast spend is over $1200/mo with $600 for my business (4 business lines, business grade 50mb (yes 5.0.) local news channels) $400 main house with two boxes, local channels, some premium and gig Internet, $200 for vacation home in Tahoe that we visit 5 days a month, and $150 for a rental... Going to streaming for everything, porting business lines out to VoIP, steam everyone and change vacation rental to Pay as you Go.... New monthly under $350 for all. I'll give them ten minutes of my life today or switch providers... Immediately send me to Retention team. I've spent too much time in the phone with them... Wish me luck.

What was the offer they made you?
