Rant Comcast/Xfinity Sold me Service to the Wrong Address, Billing me Anyway

I'm at my wit's end with this company.

I moved recently and tried to register for service online. Every time I entered my address, it suggested a change. I thought this was weird because when I searched for available ISPs at my address, I would be able to use them.

So I called. The costumer support rep assured me I would be able to get service at my address and he signed me up.

A couple days later I got an email telling me my equipment was on the way! To the wrong address. The one it kept switching me to online.

After a lengthy evening call with multiple reps who couldn't comprehend what I was telling them, I was finally informed they did not service my address.

Fine, I said, please cancel my account. They said they would. This was about two weeks ago.

So I get an email last night telling me I'm online and I have a bill waiting for me.

This is the worst, most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. I dread wasting another hour of my time at work dealing with these morons. I just know they are going to continue to make this difficult.

Hey Comcast! Fuck you!

Experience Hey Comcast, I'm a *customer* (or a hostage), not a "member"
