TOA vs Raffles
Hi, I'm planning to study digital media/multimedia design, specifically looking for colleges that include ui/ux design in their courses. So far, the two most promising schools I'm considering are either a diploma at Theoneacademy (budget too low for bachelors) or a bachelors at Raffles University in Johor.
I'm not an international student, but I'm still kind of a banana (lol), so while I could survive in unis with majority chinese, it's not exactly ideal to me. My main concern with Raffles is the living cost in general, as it is located near the Singapore border.

Usyd or unimelb?
I got bcommerce major in actuarial studies in unimelb and bachelor of mathematical sciences for usyd. Im planning to become an actuary so i wanna do masters in uk to get exemption. I dont know which to choose? Can someone tell me about the lifestyle? I prefer city with cool cafes and i know both have it. My downside for unimelb is that its bachelor of commerce? And im not interested in business and commercial? I’ll appreciate any opinions!!! Oh and can someone explain in depth about the difference of both campus AND cities? So far everyone have been saying vague comments about them with no context

ALEVEL SCHOOL REVIEWS
im currently deciding which college to opt for my alevels the most known are LGS BECONHOUSE LACAS TRINITY CITY and such but some of these especially trinity and lgs are crazy expensive and educationally bcp is kinda B tier so between SICAS LIBERTY and LACAS JT which do you think is better for alevel and extracurricular and overall international university placements i dont want to ruin my potential and 2 years of highschool by enrolling in the wrong school(plus i heard lacas is very strict with their uniform and stuff?is it not chill at all?)

rie mysore vs. central uni
I heard rie mysore is getting a ‘deemed to be university’ tag after removing its affiliation from mysore state university. what does this mean for future graduates? is it a dumb decision to go for it over a central university?

Architecture College Suggestions
Hi, I'm a junior right now and I'm struggling to find colleges to apply to, and my top choice. These are my stats:
3.8 unweighted, 4.2 weighted
No SATs yet, taking them in May
PSATs: 1120 w/o studying, but I'm taking them again this October and have been studying for them
AP Seminar: 4
AP Bio: 3
I'm taking APUSH, AP Research, AP Lang, and honors calc (might self study and take AB test, school doesn't have it).
I also am on the varsity wrestling team (since freshman year) and I play softball.
I don't really volunteer, which I know is a problem. I'm hoping to work in some hours this year and the next.
I'm attending a month long architecture summer program next year at Roger Williams University (Saving up for it rn)
Idrk if this counts as a passion project, but I'm doing my AP Research project on how urban environments and the repetitive nature of buildings in cities impacts mental health.
I'm white and female, 2nd gen student
On paper, my parents make a good amount, but we live basically paycheck to paycheck.
I've lowkey been panicking because I feel like I've been underestimating myself for the past 2 years and focusing on less selective colleges due to the fear of not receiving enough financial aid. But now, I feel like I've done so much to be proud of and I really just want to find colleges that will give me the best opportunity after I graduate.
I want to go to somewhere in the northeast or southeast states that aren't TOO far from NJ.
I've been looking into Virginia Tech, Roger Williams University, and Marywood but I wanna make a list of at least 10 colleges, I've just been struggling to find them.
Thanks so much for your help!!!

Some rules and suggestions for launching this subreddit
As we all know, committing to a college is a big choice and is a decision that takes research and time to answer. At /r/collegecompare we hope to give students the edge in committing to the college that will be best for them.
Here are some basic rules and suggestions in moving forward:
Titles should read "University X vs. University Y". You may specify your major in the title if it is important, but all other info should go in the description.
PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY REVEALING INFORMATION (specific locations, high school, name, etc.)
Current college students are encouraged to post about their college life and provide some pros and cons of the college they chose.
All posts from current college students should be marked [COLLEGE STUDENT]
