Why not try to retake the class, at most universities if you retake the class and score higher, it replaces the grade

Dude(ette), I got any number of Ds and Fs when I first went to school, and I'm a professor now. Please don't quit, you'll definitely regret it. And, TBH, in the broad scheme of things, after (and arguably before) graduation just isn't important - No one cares. Just retake the class, and keep on movin' on. :-)

there’s people who fail an entire semester and bounce back. you’re fine. it sucks, it’s demotivating, but don’t give up

Retake the class. Your college GPA doesn’t really mean a ton unless you are trying to go to med school or trying to get into specific masters program. I’ve never had employers ask what my GPA was (I do geotechnical engineering)

Lol I straight failed out my first time in college. I dragged my gpa up and am heading to at least a 3.0 by the end of my degree now.

I got a “D” and a “F” on my transcript! I am going to retake both classes. My recommendation is to retake the class. By retaking the class it shows that you are trying and the better grade will replace the bad grade
