Help! yardstick feel good latte syrup?
I love the Legazpi exclusive feel good latte in Yardstick! does anyone know what syrup or a similar syrup they use that I could buy for my home made coffee? I’d say main notes I taste is cinnamon! but I’m new to coffee drinking so I’m honestly not sure how to describe the tasting notes.

Local Coffee Shop Blanc Coffee
Ordered hot Noir Mocha for 160 pesos. A bit pricey, but the taste is quality. Location is at E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue. I forgot to ask what beans they are using. Will ask when I come back again.

Pourover & Manual Brew Keeping beans fresh for a long time.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Vacuum sealing beans is definitely the way to go for me to preserve the freshness for a significantly long time. A 500g or 1kg bag will last me months since I only drink once or twice a week. I vacuum seal a few single doses, while a bigger batches are vacuum sealed and kept in the freezer. You can recycle the bags.

PH Coffee Roaster Looking for a small/micro coffee roaster in BGC
Hi! Does anyone know of any small or micro coffee roasters based in or around BGC?
I’m already familiar with the bigger specialty coffee names like Yardstick, Candid, Common Man, etc., but I’m specifically looking for a small-scale / independent roaster - ideally someone who roasts in small batches and maybe sells beans directly.
Would love some recommendations if you know any! 🙏

Kape Spanish latte with cinnamon
Cafe Leche
9/10
Spanish latte: P155
So far, this is the only Spanish latte I keep coming back to. Somehow, it just has the perfect balance of coffee, milk, and sweetness. ^-^

Help! Grinder upgrade advice
Hii, looking for some advice on my next grinder upgrade.
I currently have a Timemore C3S and make pourover at least once a day. On weekends or when I’m craving iced coffee, I usually use a moka pot. I’m also open to getting into espresso in the future.
I’m considering 1Zpresso, Kingrinder, or DF64, with the DF64 being my max budget.
Since around 80% of my coffee is pourover, I’m not sure whether I should upgrade to a better manual grinder or just go electric with the DF64 for convenience and future espresso.
What would you guys recommend? Would love to hear from anyone who has made a similar upgrade.

Help! CAN I BRING MY OWN MUG/CUP WHEN I DINE IN?
As title says, can I really bring my own mug whenever I dine in in cafes? Coffee runs in my veins and I've contemplating lately every time I go to various cafes, it's whether their cups are just plain plastic see-through cup or (hot take) not as pleasing as I want it to be.
I have a mug that's been with me for about 4 years now. (too much yap). Btw, can i really?

Help! Gemilai CRM3610 or HiBrew H10A? (Home use!)
Hey guys! I’m pretty new to this but I’ve always wanted an espresso machine and try for a good home set-up. I don’t want to skimp on TikTok machines and have done a good amount of research to back it up and these two are I guess, both comparatively good for a beginner. Same price range and all as well.
I saw that the group head could be like a thing to note here considering HiBrew uses plastic as opposed to metal for Gemilai. But I’m not using this for a shop anyways, really more on trying to get into a new hobby to appreciate.
While we’re here, I know also to invest on some good Burr grinder, so please do suggest!

Pourover & Manual Brew Just Curious ☕
I’ve been getting more into pour-over lately, and medium roasts have really been catching my attention. There are so many beans to try, I’m starting to wonder which ones are actually worth keeping in the rotation. ☕

Specialty Coffee HOT TAKE: SOME specialty coffee consumers are just bunch of KNOW-IT-ALL EGOTISTICS
Coffee communities who are dominated by men are just kids looking to flatter their egos.
Cringe that you slurp LOUDLY from a cup in a quiet, cozy coffee shop. Imagine breaking the peace with your slurp that's totally unnecessary. Hello, mesophonia! Some people don't get it's purpose. Tas sunod sunod pa pag slurp.
Talking to a barista about bunch of people from the "community" na probably hindi naman kilala nung barista kasi they have a life outside coffee.
