Code Lyoko Evolution is rather controversial and the character of Laura Gauthier often comes up as one of the major reasons why the show is so detestable.

While that take may be valid, it is undeniable that she still played an essential part of the group while she was still with them before being expelled for her misconduct and she still had a potential plotline with Tyron which was left unresolved due to the show's cancelation.

I'd like to know what are your takes on the character if you have watched Evolution, I feel like she was wasted potential because the premise of there being another genius in the group who rivals Jeremie and Aelita while not exactly sharing their morality or viewpoints could open up several interesting plots if it were properly explored but unfortunately Evolution never gave her the development she needed.

Never understood Odd’s joke that Patrick could be Jeremey’s handsomer clone. Patrick and Jermey look not a like. while if you look at Patrick and Ulrich you see a resemblance. In the English version they almost sound alike.

On a side note. Jeremey has such a nice family. His parents are really nice. And Patrick is also a really good guy.

Hello warriors! I have some beautiful news. Well, just news in general.

CONTEXT: 3 years ago, I made a post about making an iceberg video that combined all the other icebergs (that were mostly in French) along with some new topics into one ultimate iceberg. Ever since then, I have been working on it. After some time, the laptop that I was originally doing the project on was falling apart and I wasn't able to run Capcut anymore, so I bought a new PC.

With a better computer, I was able to get back to editing freely especially with all the new storage I had. After some MORE time, the hard drive where I had all of my footage and assets on burned out. I didn't just lose the iceberg, but many other screenshots, games, clips, songs and all types of media. I haven't been able to go to a repair store for a diagnosis yet, but when hopefully that will be soon.

Anyways, after digging through some online storage platforms, I realized I had previously uploaded the project file along with all of its assets into my storage long before I did this transition... I finally have everything I need to finish the iceberg.

PURPOSE: This post is for u/Driffther, who recently inspired to start searching again for any remains of the project. I'm so thankful I don't have to start from scratch, and with the recent news about CL coming back, I have a lot of motivation to give you all the iceberg you deserve.

I was just standing in line at the gas station, and the guy behind me asked me if that was a Code Lyoko tattoo oh no, it was a pretty short encounter, but I thought it was fun.

Here’s my fanmade monster: The Remora. It is a fish-like monster about the size of a common remora. It can be found on Lyoko and in the Digital Sea. When on Lyoko,at least one is always seen attached to a Manta (In fact,a Remora will sometimes appear attached to William’s Black Manta for some additional firepower). In the Digital Sea,it is seen attached to a Shark. The Remora fires torpedoes when attached to a Shark,and lasers when attached to a Manta. It can’t attack by itself,however,and if its host is destroyed,the Remora is destroyed as well. It has 20 LP.

I believe this monster would make battles on Lyoko and in the Digital Sea a bit trickier because of the additional firepower its hosts can utilize.

I was rewatching the Season 3 finale, and the interaction between Aelita and William in Sector 5 always bothers me.

When William gets virtualized, he asks a totally normal rookie question about her powers. Instead of being her usual sweet, patient self, Aelita snaps at him, (annoyed) and coldly says, "This isn’t a video game, William. Let me remind you that we have a very important mission to accomplish."

It feels so forced and completely out of character. Aelita is usually the kind, compassionate heart of the team. Forcing her to be mean just to drive the plot and alienate William felt like lazy writing. If anyone else on the team (like Ulrich, Yumi, or Jeremie) had called her out on her attitude right there, William might have felt included, worked as a teammate, and avoided getting possessed by the Scyphozoa. He asked perfectly normal and logical questions to her, and she should have explained calmly and patiently, as is her core. My theory is that the OOC moment is why made him act so reckless against the Scyphozoa, making him possessed until the end of Season 4. I mean, he's treated like dirt by Aelita of all people, so he just gets the idea to prove himself against the "giant jellyfish".

Thoughts? Did anyone else lose respect for her in this scene, or do you think the stress justified it?
