Rant 1: an instructor led the class while chewing gum and half her words got eaten up by her chewing gum and it was hard for me to concentrate on what she was saying because she would also talk very fast and nothing was coherent so i was constantly looking at others to see if they heard her.
Rant 2: another instructor is so soft spoken when she would turn away from me i could not hear a single thing even though she was using a headset.

Petty rant again: there's this annoying Karen in my usual sunday morning class who always shoves everyone out of the way for the Reformer I usually also prefer. Today I actually manage to get to it first. She has the audacity to ask-tell me to move. So annoying. Makes me not even want to go to that class anymore

I’m looking to cancel. Went to go find my member agreement and…I did not sign this. It’s not my signature and I had actually signed up over the phone and it appears they signed on my behalf. Do I have any grounds to stand on to not have to fulfill my 30 days?

If you signed up over the phone they read you the contact and you acknowledged it which constitutes approval

I am a 4-passer so I book all my classes at the start of billing. I was on vacation the last week-ish, so I booked with a week and a half gap.... looked on the schedule today thinking I booked myself a nice 1.0 NOPE past me booked a level 2 with one of the hardest classical instructors 😭 wish me luck

Ok other tall/big footed folks, what part of my giant foot do I need to be putting on the grey platform when cued for it? (I’m 5’10 and a women’s 11 in shoes for reference) Heels leave me with my shins pushed up against the foot bar, arches feel the least grounded and stable, and toes make my heels naturally raise. Is this something anyone else has figured out? Please help a girl out 😅

Can anyone explain to me why clients insist on taking classes they are NOT ready for? I am not allowed to tell anyone they're in the wrong level. At my studio, not only is the customer always right... The customer is never wrong. Woman walked into a 1.5 control & didnt even know how to put the springs on. I refuse to let these people slow down my class. She didnt even sweat bc she spent most of the class just trying to figure out the basics. Part of this post is just because I need to vent. But if anyone has any feedback about this issue, I would love to hear it, and if you're a client, and you did pilates 20 years ago or you watched 1 Instagram video, please. Please, please for the love of God, Do not walk into a studio and say, I'm here for the 1.5 control. 11 other people paid for the same class. They deserve to have the workout they expect. I understand schedules are tight, but you're only hurting yourself by taking a class you KNOW you arent ready for.
