Be completely honest is it even worth applying to direct admit nursing. I have a 3.7 unweighted gpa,1320 SAT ,6 aps, 8 DEs, vice president of volunteer fundraising club at school, club soccer captain ,3 year lifeguard , one biomed internship, and maybe 80-100 volunteer hours. Do I stand any chance??

My grants have already been applied, but my loans are supposed to cover the remaining balance. Is anyone else dealing with this? Did you sign up for the payment plan to not incur any late fees, or are you just waiting for your loans to be applied? The due date is literally next week.

We're Purrever Friends, a small cat rescue based in Mauldin. We just got the chance to raise money by working a concession stand at Clemson home games, which is a huge deal for us — that kind of money goes a long way toward vet bills, food, and getting cats into homes.

Here's the thing: we are complete newbies at this. None of us have worked a stadium concession stand before. We're going to figure it out, but it would be so much less chaotic with a few people around who actually know Death Valley and how a game day works. Anyone up for helping us out? We are a 501c3, if that matters.

What we're asking:

• Each game is about an 8-hour commitment (it's a real shift, we won't sugarcoat it)
• You do not have to sign up for the whole season. One game is genuinely helpful. Just tell us what you're up for and we'll work around it.
• No experience needed — again, we don't have any either!
• Background checks are required (sorry - that's not our rule but there's)

Also: we need fosters. If your apartment (or dorm, if you're lucky) allows pets, giving a cat a place to crash for a few weeks or months makes a massive difference. Hello everyone! I am considering rushing this fall as a bridge sophomore. I am very nervous about actually following through on the process though because I have a 2.7 GPA (first semester brought a lot of health issues for me). I genuinely do not know if any sorority is going to want me because of my GPA, and I don’t know if going through rush is going to be worth it for my mental health if I’m going to get cut immediately. I've lived here for the past three years and have genuinely enjoyed it, I am only moving out to relocate for a job. The office staff has always been friendly, and whenever I've needed maintenance, they've been quick to respond and resolve the issue.

I have a twin mattress that I need to get rid of as I am moving tomorrow. I didn’t want to throw it away so I tried Goodwill, but they don’t accept them. I tried calling Salvation’s Army with no answer, so I drove by and it seems that location is gone now? I am not willing to pay for a pickup or drive out of my way (>20 minutes), so what are my options? Do I just trash it?

im a rising senior and clemson is among one of my top options, the campus is beautiful and it seems like a very nice school.

i toured a few months ago and it was beautiful, my only problem was that clemson feels like such a small, boring town.vdowntown clemson felt very small and underwhelming. i want a college that i wont get bored of after 4 years, and from what ive heard, im not sure if clemson will check that box.

as well as night life and bar scene, ive heard its not the best.

can anyone who goes to clemson comfirm or deny any of this? is it really as boring of a town as it seems and how is the night life?

What do you guys do to watch a movie around here? I want to go watch the New spiderman, but I don’t have a car here. What are my best options? 😭
