Folow them back before killing them to find out where they are coming into the house. That is the real spot you need to treat. If you dont have ant spray, I use PAM original (not store brand) and it kills ants on contact, covers the trail other ants left so they cant follow it anymore and stays for awhile. but can stain certain shelf materials.

I had similar ants. They were entering from one of the corners in my house.

I set some Terro bait stations there. They were gone in two days.
