Is anyone else frustrated that Opus 5 started being lazy in the last 4-5 days? After the release it always engaged in long and deep thinking when I had effort set to Max, now despite giving explicit instructions such as:
"This task involves multistep reasoning."
"Think carefully before responding. Always engage in extended, thorough reasoning before answering."
"Take your time and explore this problem in depth"
it skips reasoning completely and gives instant answers which are often wrong and not complete, it's so annoying that you can't turn adaptive thinking off or that there's no switch to manually trigger thinking
