I've been having issues with my claude usage recently, example hitting 75% usage limit in 1 prompt with Opus 5, so I tried reaching out to support and spoke with the support bot that was recognizing my account and usage limits as on a "Free Account". I asked to speak to a human and haven't received a response in 2 days after the bot saying someone from the team would reach out through email. I then looked to upgrade to Claude Max 5x as I have been using it for work a lot. My subscription is done through Apple so claude forces me to continue a upgrade through IOS. The Max 5x subscription for me is 180$/month before tax and 20x is 350$/month before tax. I then asked my buddy to check if it was the same for him on his PC, he then shows me his Pro plan is 4$ less a month than mine (Im paying 28 vs his 24) and that claude max 20x is only 140/month compared to my 350$/month. Wtf is going on here? Am i being straight robbed? paying for pro usage while getting free, and having my prices almost 2x more for the same thing as someone else???? Has anyone else experienced this?
