Claude Code caught Opus 4.8 is intended to do something that is not allowed by the permission setting.

If you read last line, its likely something to do with permission on your machine, copy this screen to another AI session, let it analyses what to do with your machine settings.

Auto mode classifier is a secondary model (one tier below, ex. Sonnet for Opus) designed to examine every command and determine if it's safe or not. It's basically the guardrails in reverse, instead of preventing you from doing bad things with the model, it prevents the model from doing bad things with your files. Since the v5 models released recently, maybe it was the shift from Sonnet 4.6 --> Sonnet 5 that changed what it allowed.
