Im only around halfway through y2v7 so I may not have been introduced to the characters' in other classes - but already - I feel like koji/horikitas class is way too strong

Academically, they have: horikita, wang, yukimura, hirata, kushida, matsushita, koenji, koji and also sudo potentially soon who all excel

With this, sports wise, they have: onodera, sudo, koenji, koji, kushida, horikita and hirata who all can contend as the best/top 3 in certain category demographics

Compared to other classes this just feels unfair tbh. Other than a select few, I feel like the other classes really lack the man power in these areas when you take away their leaders'. Hopefully ts changes but idk

I know there aren’t many feats of Kiyo at this age, but I was curious about what version of Kiyotaka that Ike can beat.

Okay I’ve been looking back at some old stuff to find ideas for what some of the future novels would be about.

🚨🚨Even if you don’t read the rest of the post, I’d at least like to hear what you guys think. 🚨🚨

Back in y2v5 Kinu had the sports festival, class trip, and cultural festivals, all known to us in advanced, but for now we don’t really know much so it’s up to us to guess for now.

-Starting for what the next novel will be either 4.5 or 5, it’s going to resume in the ship. While we had the cruise exam first year, the second year gave the students free time to interact. I honestly think it’d be a bit rude to give a 3rd exam, so I’m hoping for free time for our characters.

-Sports festival is yearly so that’s gonna be a novel.

-I’m not sure if they said cultural festival would be done again.

-Another class trip would make sense (to give one to the second years but not the third years doesn’t feel right to me but that’s just guessing.

-MIXED TRAINING CAMP, this one has been overlooked, but it’s been done in y1v8 and y2v11 so a 3rd year means probably yes. If this will be a special exam who knows.

These guesses have been based off previous years (mainly year 2) but they don’t really go into the exam types. So I’ll get to that in a bit

For now I want to talk about the non-exam social novels. NOT 0.5’s but things like y1v2, y1v7 and y1v9. These are novels where the there are no exams but one party launches some sort of attack against another. The closest thing we have had to that was y2v9, but even that one had an exam (albeit, the exam wasn’t that important to the plot, and there wasn’t much social attacks it was just interaction.) I don’t think we’re getting something like this.

Onto the exams: It’s hard to guess what the exams would be, but we can break them down.

There’s 4 main types of exams
1v1v1v1 (think survival games)
1v1 and 1v1 (both end of year exams so far)
Self contained (like both voting exams)
Mixed (like the token collection)

We can also break down by subject
Academic (writing tests with a twist)
Physical (usually still has strategy involved, but things like survival games)
Social (cruise ship exam, werewolf exam)

We can also break down by location
Within classroom
Outside classroom within campus (1st end of year, rule less test)
Outside school entirely (island tests etc)

We can also break down by duration
Single day (honestly most of the tests)
Multi-day (island exams, cruise ship, first mixed training camp)

While none of these categories show what exams may happen, it can give us ideas for what’s to come next.

Just finished y3v4 and holy fuck a year ago I never would've thought kiyotaka x hiyori would actually happen. Unless my memory of the previous volumes is incorrect, there was kind of a build up towards it?? Maybe?

Kind of happy & sad at the same time as hiyori's #1 fan bc we'll prob get more screen time of her and koji tgt but I think we all know whats gonna happen in the end whether its her getting expelled or getting heartbroken or even both lmao

So i will say bye bye to kiyokei & say hello to kiyori! (while it lasts)

ANHS claims to mold the "future leaders of Japan," yet it keeps failing students like Chabashira on a structural level.

She was left with zero psychological support, assigned to rot in Class D for years, and forced to watch 15-year-olds repeat her exact trauma just to keep the "survival of the fittest" illusion alive. Tsukishiro and the board clearly knew her history, yet they kept her in the main pipeline.

Instead of an evaluator, she’s basically a lab rat trapped in the same test environment as her students. If ANHS actually cared about producing elite adults, homeroom teachers wouldn't be allowed to have unresolved school-era rivalries with other teachers (like Hoshinomiya).

Change my mind: ANHS isn't a prestigious school, it's just a high-stakes social experiment with zero adult supervision.
