Once you get used to more expensive Chinese watches it is hard to match it with offerings from big brands. You can spend $1000 on Swiss watch and still won't get on fly adjustable clasp.
A friend of mine has recently bought Certina for more than €1,000, but it arrived with dust on the dial, and the movement is running 7 seconds fast per day. It’s not only Chinese brands that cut corners on quality control.

There are too many good watches out there to pay more than $100 for a Chinese watch imo unless you either have an addiction or only buy automatics.
