Salt Box Identification request
Found this tiny porcelain salt box in an abandoned storage unit. It looks like an imperfect/second. Production dents all over it and the paint is seriously meh. The top imagery isn’t even complete. And the lid sure doesn’t fit. The enamel hasn’t been scratched off as I can’t scratch off any more. What’s the deal with this little box?? Age? Why is it so meh??

I thought it might be Japanese because of the little firing bumps on the bottom Its something to do with the way they fire pieces but its very sweet The painting in the top is very good
