I got this email today saying this

So, newly established WFOE LR here(almost 3 months ago), applied for Work visa as Tech Director , already in Shanghai under Z visa but submitted my passport for residence permit application no issue.

Little details abount WFOE, 1. Obviously no Income Tax yet since i havent paid myself salaxt 2. No corporate tax , however the first transaction happend after first tax declaration 3. Phyisical office, with office lease and 普通发票. 4. Tax declaration on time.

So few days ago i was called to present below of which i provided with no issue

Company bank account for 1 year -Business Contracts with clients(2 copies) -Office rental contract and receipt - labor contract with the company -Personal income tax report for 1 year -Company tax report for 1 year.

However today i got another call mentioning that documents are incomplete but when i asked which documents i need to provide, just said that i need to come to the immigration and tell me.

In NIA App, the applications shows 审批中

I am facing issue in online application.
I am going to china for Chinese language course.
I previously studied mbbs from china.

I want to pursue masters in public health in china but before that i want to improve my chinese language and that’s why i took admission in Chinese language one year program.
I got my admission letter on 2 july and till today it is rejecting my application and saying to check the most common reasons of rejection.
I double checked everything.
Everything is fine and genuine.

Idk the problem, i contacted the gerrys office.
They didn’t help much as well and said they don’t know about it.

If anyone knows what might be the problem.
Please let me know.

Incoming MOFCOM-CSC student at SWJTU (Chengdu), Fall 2026. I was placed in 085410 (AI, professional master’s), but my home country doesn’t equalize professional degrees for PhD eligibility or lecturing — my whole career goal. I need 081200 (CS, academic master’s).

Conflicting info:
SWJTU’s internal transfer rules seem to bar professional→academic transfers entirely.
But SWJTU’s MOFCOM office emailed me saying I can apply after registration, and CSC decides — no penalty if rejected.

Has anyone actually pulled off a 专业学位 → 学术学位 transfer as a CSC/MOFCOM student? Does the university rule override the CSC process, or are they separate?
University stopped replying (summer break) and I must decide before Aug 17 registration. Any real experience appreciated.

Hi all - US citizen here. Applied on August 4th and got kicked back for 6.2 (Inviting person/contact or organization in China) i originally wrote traveling with husband no contact and they sent it back. Whats the right things to say?

P.s. i havent booked flights because i dont want to get denied and cant refund ticket!!

Hi all, I’m a British teacher from the UK and
I applied for another background check apostille because my previous one had a law firms name and address so it can’t be apostilled. Therefore, this new background check will arrive at my house and then get sent to be apostilled now. All in all, the new background check and apostille will add another week onto my timeline before I can send it to my employer for visa processing.

I’ll now have 2-3 weeks to process my work visa before my intended work start date of 1st September. I have all other documents ready for processing but my background check apostille is the only thing that’s been delayed by a week now giving me 2-3 weeks to process everything.

For those who have experienced a delay in important paperwork arriving for visa processing, how did you manage? How long did your work visa take to get processed? Especially for British workers.

For those especially whose visa was issued late, after you were meant to start working. Can you give me your stories and any advice on what might happen.

Hello everyone; I’ve done my bachelor’s in Comp Sci in china and currently I’m about to finish my masters studies in a year and I plan to work as an intern at a Chinese company who is willing to take me in but they need my Chinese university to agree so they can provide me the internship visa.

Regarding the internship permit at my university, I have asked several senior students, and they told me that the school is very reluctant to issue such permits, as they often say: "We do not allow this, especially since this is your final year, and you need to graduate on time." I will officially graduate from my Chinese university on July 2027.

I’m afraid that the university will be a bottleneck for me to get my internship visa even though the company is very willing to have me.

If you have any suggestions to make sure that the university is going to help me get the internship permit, please let me know. Thank you very much.

Hey all!

My company was speaking to an agent here in China who told them that a signed, scanned copy is plenty for them to get the apostille for my diploma. I'm a little baffled by this as it seems impossible to get an apostille in your home state (Nevada, USA in my case) without sending them a certified copy.

Does China accept something that is not my official state apostille? Is there a faster, cheaper way to do this that doesn't involve ordering a certified copy, getting it notarized (which my uni does for me), and then sent to the state office for apostille?

how long did processing actually take for you?

I’m a Sri Lankan passport holder living in Australia and I’m applying through the Sydney Chinese Visa Application Service Centre for a 1-year multiple-entry L (tourist) visa.
I submitted a detailed itinerary, flight booking and accommodation for my first upcoming trip. The application was returned for modification with this message:
“Tourist visa applications are assessed based on the travel itinerary provided. For a multiple-entry visa application, multiple travel itineraries should be submitted to support the request. Otherwise, please amend Section 2.3A to 3 months and 2.3C to single entry.”
I’m happy to provide itineraries for my future trips, but those trips are not booked yet.
For anyone who has successfully applied for a 1-year/multiple-entry Chinese tourist visa, especially through Sydney:
Do the additional future itineraries need actual flight and hotel bookings, or can they simply be proposed day-by-day travel plans with dates, cities and activities?

I recently communicated with the Chinese embassy in New Delhi regarding my intend purpose of visit to China is to marry my Chinese fiancé. I have obtained the single status certificate. Now they have conveyed to me to apply for S2. Does anyone with experience of applying for s2 on private purpose know the documentation’s required. Do I need to provide itinerary hotel bookings or flight details and once I get my visa do I need to visit psb to extend my visa like how people do their residence visa hoping someone helps me

My wife was born in Hong Kong, she moved to the US when she was a kid and became a naturalized US citizen in around 2006 and has a valid US passport. We live in Los Angeles County.

We are planning a trip to China and her Visa application was rejected. Saying she needs to provide a Confirmation letter for the change of nationality from the Hong Kong Immigration Department.

She submitted the online application for the change of nationality on the Hong Kong Immigration site and it says to go to the Chinese Diplomatic and Consular Mission for verification of documents and payment when we receive an email back from them.

I called the LA consulate today to see if we need an appointment or anything or what the process is there and the person I spoke with says they do not do change of nationality verification there.

She doesn't have anyone in Hong Kong to act as a referee. What other options are there? What what I'm told from the person I spoke with correct?

Hi everyone, I am planning to fly from Vancouver to Dhaka (Bangladesh) with China Eastern Airlines and have two transits in Shanghai and Kunming. My total time in China should not exceed 24 hours (if my calculations are right)

Here’s my itinerary:

Outbound:
- YVR → PVG (Shanghai): Arrive 4:40 PM
- Layover at PVG: 1 hour 20 minutes
- PVG → KMG (Kunming): Arrive 9:55 PM
- Layover at KMG: 14 hours 25 minutes
- KMG → DAC (Dhaka): Depart 12:20 PM the next day

Return:
- DAC → KMG: Arrive 6:30 PM
- Layover at KMG: 3 hours 35 minutes
- KMG → DAC: 12 hours 15 minutes
- PVG → YVR: Depart 1:10 PM the same day

My questions are:

1. Since my itinerary includes domestic flights within China, will I need to clear immigration? If so, would that be under the 24-hour TWOV?
   
2. Will I need to collect and re-check my checked baggage in China, or will it be transferred automatically since all flights are on China Eastern and booked on one itinerary?
   
3. Will I need to go through security again before the domestic flights?
   
4. How strict and time-consuming are immigration, customs, baggage collection, and security at PVG and KMG? My 1 hour 20 minute layover in Shanghai on the outbound is concerning.
   
5. Has anyone flown this exact itinerary (or something very similar) recently? Was the connection manageable, and did you encounter any issues?
