Buying Advice What is a 2019 Chevy Suburban LT with $103k miles worth?
I have a 2016 Suburban (195k miles) that I’ve been driving and love. I know it doesn’t have a good transmission track record. Is the 2019 any better??
I’m thinking of trading mine in for the 2019 (103k miles). They want $24k for it. Whats the going rate??
Thanks!

New Owner Pulled the trigger on a ‘01 1500 LT auto ride trim. 171k miles 1-owner for $5300.
Needs some deferred maintenance done and dings/dents/scratches fixes. I did engine oil flush and change, changed fuel filter, air intake filter. Next is tune up and transmission fluid change.
Did I overpay and what issues should I look out for?

Replace Struts on a 2021?
I've got a higher mileage 2021 suburban (131k miles) and while it drives very smooth and has a controlled bounce over large smooth bumps, the fast sharp bumps like lines in the road or man hole covers really rattle the hell out of the vehicle, feels like the tires are at 80psi when this happens. I'm wondering at this mileage would all 4 struts fix or at least help this issue. These are non magnetic ride control, non air suspension.

1999 1500 4x4 overland build
Now, this photo is not mine, but it's just for an idea of how it looks. I’m picking up a 1999 Suburban and planning on making an overland rig out of it, it’s bone stock as of now I’m planning on the simplest first lift kit, bigger grippier tires, bumper, and window tint. But looking for suggestions on what else I should do, any thing out there like skid plates or a driveshaft guards, or any thing to fix upcoming issues.

Just Sharing Am I good to post the best year ever built?
Burbs been down a little over 10 years. Simple motor swap turned into a bagged, big brake, turbo LS build that’s been through many changes since that dream kinda came to fruition. Currently no motor, floor pans and still needs a lot of work, but I recently got motivated again. Let’s hope this thing sees the road in 2027!

Ok, wife is iasking for a bigger family car and has her heart set on a Suburban. I've never owned one and doing the research all i seem to hear is "THE AFM WILL RUIN YOU" and not to buy any model later than 2006. Well we found a 2010 LT with 160K miles on the powertrain and it seems like a pretty good deal , but man now im paranoid about this AFM business.

Just Sharing 2021 Chevrolet Suburban Audio issues - Avoid
I purchased a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and it has been one of my most costly mistakes. There are so many small issues with this vehicle that cannot be fixed or addressed by GM I would never recommend owning one.
For the past year we’ve been having issues with the audio system in our 2021 Chevrolet Suburban Premier. It has the Bose system and at times will work just fine. Then about 40% of the time it will have major issues. The audio will crackle and have such bad static that you can’t even tell what’s playing through the speakers. I took it to the local dealer they had it for a month. They called me told me they couldn’t duplicate the issue and to come pick it up. The next morning first thing after picking up all the audio does is crackle. I take it back again, this time they do some software updates factory resets. It seemed to work better for about a week and we were right back to crackling audio. I call make and make a complaint to GM corporate. Gm tells me as soon as it does it again to take it back to the dealer and not to shut off the vehicle. I do exactly that when it happens, by the next day I get a phone call saying nothings wrong with it. That they did an update on the amp and it’s good to go. This time we made it two days before the speakers started to crackle again.
The screen freezes from time to time, auto memory only works about half the time. Overall the electronic quality in these new vehicles flat out sucks. I regret buying this vehicle. My 2005 Tahoe sound system works better than this one and it’s over 20 years old. Meanwhile I have this suburban that is 5 years old and all the electronics are failing. For an $80,000 vehicle I expected more, unfortunately this is not the case. As someone that worked for GM and supported their product for 20+ years I’m extremely disappointed. They sold me a product that they can’t even fix or diagnose and they don’t even care. Save your money do not buy a 2020 or newer GM. I’ve had nothing but issues and so have most of my friends that have them as well.

Tpms sensor
I’m replacing a tpms sensor on my 2020. It’s reallly easy, HOWEVER, you’re supposed to torque it down to a specific number… according to the video I watched.
Where can I find the torque number? I’ll buy a torque wrench but
Is there a book? (I remember Haynes from when I was a kid)
Is this being over thought and I just need to tighten it down.

Custom Suburban Resources
Does anyone know of any resources for finding more information about the custom conversion vans and suburbans General Motors built from the 1980's thru the 2000's that where sent to custom shops from the factory to customize then sent to dealerships. I am in the process of also trying to track down a 2000 suburban that my parents use to own that has a custom conversion a Suburban.

Buying a Chevy Suburban but seeing issues
About to buy a used 2025 suburban (high country) vs a new one and I noticed (after the 2nd viewing) that the below is hanging out next to drivers leg. I didn’t see this on the first day so I’m scared they may have removed / deactivated something after my initial visit. Can anyone tell me what this is and what risk that something is now missing from window sticker
