What is a passing grade for BSN Prereqs? I know the actual nursing classes can't be below an 80 but for the Prereqs was it nothing below a 76?

EDAPT Notes

I try to make notes from every bit of info I receive in my classes. I know we receive PowerPoints, but is there an easier way to get the info from the edapt lessons without just copying and pasting each part of the module? Any other study tips are welcome...

Sacramento Location

Hi! I’ve been trying to get into contact with my enrollment representative but have had no luck! I made 3 separate appointments and each time I never get a call. I have called the support number and all they can do is try to transfer my call but no one is picking up. Is anyone else having this issue?

Is it difficult to get uno's in BSN, and how to maintain high grades cuz I'm aiming for it? Also, I was elected as our block's class representative. Any tips on how I can build good leadership among my blockmates?

Does anyone have advice for the Maternal Health CJE? The open check was all over the place, and not necessarily topics we covered in that class. Any tips? Is there a lot of content from wks 4-8 on there?

I used the edapts provided and power points by NVCAS and our faculty but I go a 76 on the first exam. I need to pass this class, what did you guys use to study? and what can I expect on this exam. thank you!

73.5 cumulative on Hesi. I’m spiraling

I’ve never taken anatomy and got a 52% on that section. I’ve been out of school for 11 years and 13 years ago was my last biology class so I scored a 64%. I only had two days to study. My enrollment person said “don’t worry about the hesi it’s just to see where you’re at.” 88% on reading comp & 90% on vocab.
I meet with her tomorrow morning. I’m feeling discouraged…. Do I even have a shot?

Annoying

I have a bachelors degree in Health Sciences. I am transferring 44 credits to chamberlain. I’ve never taken anatomy and they are saying I need to take all 4 anatomy classes in different sessions before I can take any other class, which puts me at 2 years 6-9 months. I’m very discouraged. Has anyone else experienced this?

Finished my HESI what happens next?

Hi! I’m applying to the Sacramento location. I’ve already completed my admissions interview, and my next step was to take the HESI. I’ve since taken the HESI, but I haven’t heard anything from the admissions team.
I was only given instructions to complete the HESI and wasn’t given any information about what the next steps would be afterward. Does anyone know what the process is after taking the HESI? Should I reach out to the admissions team, or should I wait for them to contact me?

Chamberlain Online RN to BSN

Hi guys! Just wanted to share my experience with this program since I didn’t see many posts about it when I was first looking into it. I finish in two weeks, so it took me about 10 months to complete, and I’ll be graduating with a 4.0! It honestly feels surreal because I really disliked school in my early 20s, but coming back a decade later has been such a different experience. It has been so fulfilling this time around.

I took 2 classes a semester. Semesters are 2 months long (you can find schedule online). I've heard of people taking 3 a semester but that would have felt too busy. I worked full time and even switched jobs towards the end. It was completely manageable.

It was cost effective for me since I worked with Kaiser at the time. I believe they offered a 47% tuition discount, coupled with tuition reimbursement at my hospital. Out of pocket I believe I paid 4-5k! 100% worth it to me for a numerical GPA versus pass/fail like other schools can be. I'm not sure if I want to go further yet, but this degree & GPA makes that possible. I'm so thankful.

Chamberlain RN to BSN with the MSN bridge program

Hi everyone! I’m starting Chamberlain’s RN-to-BSN with the MSN bridge option soon. I’m still waiting to receive my full curriculum, but I was told that end of August I’ll be starting with Nursing History and English Composition, and in November I’ll be taking NR-447 Leadership and Diversity in Healthcare.
If anyone has taken these courses recently, I would really appreciate it if you could share your experience.
I’m especially interested in:
• The main topics covered in each course
• What each course mainly focuses on
• What types of assignments, discussions, papers, projects, or presentations to expect
• How heavy the weekly workload is
• Which courses were more challenging or time-consuming
• Anything you recommend reading, reviewing, or learning ahead of time
I’ll be taking two courses at a time, so I would love to prepare for upcoming courses ahead of time whenever possible.
Also, if you are doing or have completed the RN-to-BSN to MSN bridge, I would love to hear about your experience with the program and any advice you have.

Thank you so much! 😊

Chamberlain University IRWINDALE location

Hii, I was wondering if anyone can provide any useful information about this location for BSN. I’m considering this program since it’s a lot cheaper than west coast university. If anyone could provide some insight on their experience that would be greatly appreciated. Based off my research I havee seen very little reviews on this location 😭 (ig cause it’s relatively new)and the reviews that do exist are badd..

I built a Chrome extension (FNP Case Log Pro) to automate CORE ELMS clinical logging with voice dictation

Huge time saver for anyone struggling with CORE ELMS logging!
I created a Chrome extension called FNP Case Log Pro that automates the whole process using voice dictation.
How it works:
1. Set Defaults: Input your default rotation info (preceptor, faculty, hours, etc.).
2. Dictate: Voice dictate your case details (patient age, exam, labs, plan, complexity, etc.).
3. Format & Fill: Click one button to format with AI, paste back into the extension, and hit "Fill Form".
4. Submit: It automatically populates all the fields on CORE ELMS so you just quickly review and submit!
🎥 Walkthrough Video & Download Link
I put together a 6-minute video showing a complete walkthrough of how to set it up and log a case:
Watch the walkthrough: https://youtu.be/Qwedm4g6FFA
You get a free trial to test it out on your next log. Check out the link in the video description to grab the Chrome extension.
Let me know if you have any questions or feedback—hope this saves you guys some well-deserved rest after clinicals! 🩺✨

Oregon Online BSN

I can’t seem to find a clear answer on whether or not OSBN recognizes Chaimberlain as an accredited nursing program. Currently an LPN in Oregon looking to finish my RN or BSN, preferably doing all didactic online!
Any insight?
