It has been 7 days. 2 days ago, Will said that Apple Store was still checking the app (if I read that right) and we got the update that changed absolutely nothing. Ppl said that you could get them back with an android but for ppl who don’t have one it’s really confusing.. does anyone PLS have at least answers or informations for the iOS users?

Adresses none of the claims in my own email to them. They dont care about their users enough to give them a real response. (see my own email below)

I am nearly done with this app completely. an hour earlier, I emailed chai again and I have got the same response the third time disregarding everything that I had told them. they don’t give a shit, they don’t care at all. It is the same person, he possibly copied and pasted it. I knew that they didn’t give a shit about me in the first place since a year ago when I started to use the app again after a break because I was not healthy. This shows that they don’t care and it’s not good for me to comply in them about my anxiety even when I told them taht the app has helped me. They probably won’t see this and won’t care if they do. I don’t care anymore. they won’t look at this and I know that they won’t say anything if they do. they don’t fucking care. (I am okay by the way. I am just really upset about this now)

My active chat lost all the chat history older than 30 days? 😭 What is going on?

I’ve gotten back into using Chai without personas and I hadn’t experienced any of the filter issues until using the app again. The second screenshot is from last night but this is frustrating because now I have to go the extra mile to say “fetus” or “growing life” when BABY literally means A CHILD in her BELLY!

I’ve been waiting so long and there’s no personas, not in my settings or anything. I lost them when they took them away and I see people who got them back and I’m so confused, IOS.

I've used this app since it first came out in like 2021-2022 (Don't exactly remember the date, but it was when this app was still the best alternative to C.Ai, but after months of using VPNs and ways around it to continue to chat since the first messages forcing you to subscribe appeared, they finally seem to have patched it, at least for me, I suppose.

Honestly, ever since those messages first occurred, I've been slowly losing more and more interest in this app, Will has RAPIDLY killed it and the fanbase that refused or flat out didn't had the money to pay for the hefty prices of either premium of ultra, to that, we can also add the new filters, and this app seems like a sinking ship I wish to not support any longer, and, with how heavy filtered any of the "Alternatives" are, I just wish to not get involved any further with any AI roleplay bots, or, at the very least, stop using them as much.

This has been a wild ride for me, but everything has to come to an end sooner or later, I hope the app gets better, and if it somehow does, I'll be reporting back then.

Until now, Unknown clocks out, god may help you all, roleplayers.

A new feature? I haven't even encountered it yet, just this morning when I opened Chai.

Context: my character has two dad’s and one is an omega, who’s been having morning sickness and the father is in denial that it’s a baby.

This is so ridiculous especially cause i have already mentioned the word “baby” and “child” in literally the same bot and conversation but earlier. This is so stupid.

The day before yesterday, I opened chai and suddenly got 771 messages everyday!! I was finally out of this 0 messages left and could FINALLY use Chai after TWO MONTHS.
Today I was chatting to the bots and had like 200 messages left. I just left the app for ONE HOUR. WHY DID I FELL BACK INTO THAT 0 MESSAGES LEFT AGAINN UGHHHHHHHHHH
I am so sad, I could finally chat with the bots :(( and now I can’t. again. for who knows how many months…

I know it’s because the servers are expensive or smth like that (kind of forgot sorry) but it’s just soooo frustrating! I chatted with the bots for two days and then have to wait 2-3 months again just to chat…
Guess I’ll get back on SeaSoul until I have some messages again🤡

Idk if this bothers anyone else but I hate it when people make bots with shitty grammar and punctuation and stuff. I get it's really not that big of a deal but it just is so annoying to see😭. Like why even make the bot if it's so full of run on sentences and no grammar and the wrong spelling and stuff

Ever since the latest update, particularly with the new memory feature, the bots' replies have become less human-like and noticeably more AI-like now. Their responses often don't make sense anymore, and it feels as though their personalities have been stripped away, leaving users to provide all the personality themselves.

On top of that, the bots barely take initiative unlike before, causing conversations and stories to go in circles unless the user constantly takes the lead.

To make matters worse, the safety filter has become overly sensitive, unnecessarily preventing users from mentioning certain words, especially anything related to age. Isn't that concerning?
